HTC Evo 4G
The HTC Evo 4G is a smartphone developed by the HTC Corporation. A joint press release by HTC Corporation and Sprint Nextel was given on 23 March 2010 at the CTIA 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will launch June 4th, 2010.
EVO is powered by a 1-GHz Snapdragon processor and runs the Android operating system, version 2.1. It includes a TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen screen, an 8-megapixel camera in the rear and a 1.3-megapixel camera in the front. The HTC Sense user interface will also be included.
The Android operating system is able to take advantage of the Snapdragon processor's onboard video chipset, enabling the HTC Evo to capture and playback video at 720p high-definition resolution.
