ATT announces Pantech Easy
After announcing HTC Aria today, ATT also announced Pantech Easy, a quick messaging device designed for simplicity seekers. The new handset is not a spectaculous device, but it will get the work done for sure. It has a large, confortable touch screen and will be available online and in AT&T stores from 20th June. The new handset wants to deliver a streamlined mobile experience, features a full qwerty keyboard and keeps the customers better connected with family and friends.
The original Pantech Breeze was released two year ago, in 2008, while the Pantech Breeze II was launched in May 2010. That's the third Pantech handset available soon. AT&T says this is an equal good device from children to grandparents. It has a 3.2 inch full touch screen display, intuitive menus - everything easy, as the name says. The phone has a nice, unique feature too: it can transform from Easy Mode to Advanced Mode for a more traditional quick messaging experience, with a quick settings change.
In experts' opinion AT&T launched this phone for seniors especially, because it's very easy to use. Young customers can afford spending more money on a smartphone, which may not be intuitive, but will have more features. This handset will be compatible with AT&T's High Speed packet Access (7.2 Mbps), so there is also going to be a nice browsing experience. The device will cost around $119 with a two-year deal and a minimum $20 Messaging plan.
