BlackBerry Pearl 9100 Pink available now
Weird enough, the first version of BlackBerry 9100 released is the pink one, and not the black one. Telus said it will be available in May and now there it is. Unfortunately, you will have to wait few weeks more for the black version. In my opinion the pink one is ugly and it will not have success, as most of the smartphones like BlackBerry are used by men in general, not by women, and I can't really see a business man using a pink Pearl.
The phone is available right now at Telus at different plans, starting at $29.99 with a three-year contract. On the two-year deal you will have to pay $249.99 for the phone, while for the one-year contract you will need to get $299.99 out of your pocket. If you don't want any contract at all, then you need to spend $349.99 on the new BlackBerry Pearl 9100. Telus will donate $25 of each Pearl 9100 bought to the breast cancer research.
The Pearl 9100 is a 360x400 pixels screen phone, with a two-key-qwerty keyboard, 3.2 MP camera, Bluetooth, external microSD (2GB included, can keep up to 32GB), 256MB internal flash memory SDRAM, GPS and Wi-Fi.
