Consumer Reports says don't buy iPhone 4

Earlier this month, Apple came out with a statement saying that the anntenna problem on the iPhone 4 was actually a software issue and they will be coming out with a fix soon.
Michael Gikas, senior editor of electronics at Consumer Reports said in a phone interview that the earlier blog post was a "first impression" of the iPhone 4 and the latest report is based on detailed laboratory experiments showing the phones issues are clearly a hardware malfunction.
Quote statement by Michael Gikas:
"We don't believe that consumers should pay extra money to fix the problem," Mr. Gikas said. "We think either Apple should supply free cases for the phone or come up with another solution. That's why we are not recommending the iPhone 4."
Sad news for Apple, I hope they won't be dealing with class-action lawsuits regarding this problem in the future.
