Droid 2 in Verizon's catalog

A leaked summer catalog shows the new Motorola Droid 2 will be there alongside the Motorola Droid X. If we were almost sure about Droid X, then we didn't knew anything about Droid 2. Well, now we are more than sure the smartphone will be launched by Verizon. The successor of Motorola Droid was seen in a leaked summer catalog of the carrier and the release date is in the following weeks.
Some of the specs weren't sure, but now we know them. Droid 2 will be powered up a 1GHz processor, 8GB internal memory, with 512MB RAM. There's a microSd memory card of 8GB in the retail package, and the support is probably until 32GB. The camera is a 5MP, the phone features a side-sliding qwerty keyboard and the phone will be able to be a Wi-Fi hotspot. All that remains is to hear an official release date from Verizon, which may come soon.
