We thought the HTC Hero wasn't coming to the US, at least it wasn't one of the phones that was announcement for the US, but now it seems that the sprint is getting the HTC Hero. 

Right now there is no information regarding Sprint's exclusive agreement and how this will affect the chances of an unlocked version in the US. Given what has happened with the Pre it seems the Hero will be exclusively on the Sprint network for a good 6 months.

Sprint is headed in the right direction after snagging the Palm Pre and now with the HTC Hero. A lot of Sprint's problem is the lack of handset selection. Their lineup has really lacked that wow factor recently.

We think it will follow the same $200 price range that similar phones are offered at. It's about time us longtime Sprint customers get to see what the Android platform is all about.
