HTC Rolls-out Android 4.4.3 Update to HTC One M8 [Developer Edition], Unlocked is Next

HTC promised us the Android 4.4.3 update for the HTC One M8 this week, and kept its promise. The Android 4.4.3 OTA update is now rolling-out to M8 [Developer Edition] devices. According to the XDA forum posters, the update file is for both the developer edition (M8_UL_CA) and SIM unlocked (M8_UL) devices, though none of the unlocked seems to be getting the OTA at the moment. This huge update (600MB!) brings tons of performance enhancements to the M8 along with a new firmware version 2.22 and a new Android version 4.4.3 which is also includes all security fixes of the Android 4.4.4 KitKat release.

HTC executive said that the next over-the-air update would be for Android L. The company has already committed to sending the Android L update for the One M8 within three months of the code being published, whenever that happens to be.
