Koodo, the Canadian carrier started by TELUS in 2008, announced they will be the one that will launch BlackBerry 8530, the last model from the Research in Motion company. The phone will be available next week, on 25th May, and is priced around $300 for the no-contract deal and at about $150 on the Tab. Silver is the only colour the smartphone will be available with.

Regarding the plans, there will be two BlackBerry Add-on to choose from: BlackBerry Social ($10 per month) for unlimited Messenger, Facebook, Twitter etc. and BlackBerry Connect ($25 per month) that gives you up to 500MB of e-mail, Facebook, Messenger, Twitter etc. A plan must be added on the purchase of the phone.
