LG and Samsung have toppled Motorola as the top-selling phone brand

According to ComScore, which released April numbers showing Motorola losing its precarious lead as it dropped from a 22.9% to 21.6% share of mobiles. The two companies took the lead are Samsung and LG.
RIM's market share moved from 7.8 percent to 8.4 percent between January and April to get fourth place, but Nokia's lack of influence in the US dropped it a full point to 8.1 percent.

Also in the report, a comparison for the service provider's current US market share, Verizon Wireless still lead the chart with 31.1% of the total subscribers. AT&T at 25.2 % (little bit of gain there). T-Mobile and Sprint tie at 3rd and 4th place respectively.
