Motorola Droid X to be launched on 19th July?
The Droid, Droid Eris and Droid Incredible were all launched last year and it seems Verizon is ready for another device from the same producer. The Droid X is the next-gen smartphone from Motorola, rumored to be launched on 19th July. The stores are ready to announce the launch of the new device, maybe with the new window decor coming 18th July.
We don't know anything about when the Droid X's brother, the Droid 2, will be launched. We're seeing a lot of leakage of it and this shows that it may not be too much to wait until Droid 2 will hit the market.
Droid X will be covered in metal, which means a bigger resistence for the device. There's going to be a 4.1 inch capacitive touch display, Android 2.2, 8GB of internal storage and HDMI out. It will probably run a 700 Mhz OMAP processor instead of Snapdragon and rumors suggest the new processor will be able to keep a balance between power consuption and performance.
