Motorola i1 to be released next month
The new Motorola, called i1, will be released next month, on 20th June, as announced in an advertising at the Indianapolis 500 event. The smartphone is Boost Mobile's first Android device (and maybe the best). The phone will also iDEN push-to-talk functionality. The device will have incredible features, as it will be dustproof, shockproof and rainproof. I can't recall a new release that has all of those three features packed in.
The smartphone packs a 3.1" 320x480 touchscreen, Wi-Fi, 5MP autofocus camera, 256MB RAM and 512MB on-board storage. The processor is a 500MHz Zeus 2.0 and the storage capacity will be on a microSD slot. The phone will integrate Opera Mini 5, to help the user have a better browsing performance.
You will have to spend $349 at BestBuy for it, if you also get Boost's $50 unlimited data/web/text plan which, in my opinion, is very expensive. I'd rather wait a little bit more before buying it with this plan, because $50 per month is an important sum that not anyone can afford paying.
