Even with the new iPhone 4G on its way out, Bell is not leaving iPhone 3G behind. For everyone who wants to have it now, the phone is available at Bell from just $9.99. Sure, we are talking now about refurbished phones, as Bell says: "Refreshed phones are phones returnet in an unused or slightly used condition and that have passes rigorous Quality Assurance testing." The phones are also updated to the current software and are verified to operate in accordance with their specifications. Some of the devices have minor scratches, but those don't have an impact on the proper operation. There's a 90-day warranty from the date of purchase for every device bought.

Well, in my opinion, that's not a bad offer. But wait to hear everything. For having one of this refurbished iPhones, you will have to buy a plan. What kind of plan? A $50 monthly Smartphone Combo Plan which is too much. Why bother paying $50 per month for an old iPhone (for three years), when you could just buy the new one? By the way, the new iPhone will be available at Bell and Telus starting 4th July. 

Bell stated this iPhone 3G-offer will continue until the end of the month, but I really can't see it being successful enough. The price of the phone is cool, buy with the risk of repeating myself, the plan is scandalous.
