Samsung Galaxy SII DEFEATS the HTC Sensation on Benchmark

25 April, 2011 Samsung

For the past few weeks, we were convinced that if there is a real super Android device, it has got to be the Samsung Galaxy S II. Sure, HTC Thunderbolt still holds that record officially, but once Sammy new toy has been unleashed on the US market, everything will certainly change. Anyway, things go over an interesting direction when HTC unveiled the Sensation 4G packing with a monstrous 1.2GHz dual-core specification last week, which is a pretty good match with the upgraded 1.2GHz Exynos 4210 CPU of the S2. Likewise, it appears the former got easily beaten by the S2, as far as what this benchmark score is telling us.

The first image is all about the HTC Pyramid aka Sensation 4G benchmark, with a top score of 1898 while running Android 2.3.3. But when you compared it with the Galaxy S2 running the same platform, its score was a whopping 3732! Something thats twice the fast pretty exhilarating since these two device runs both 1.2GHz dual-core CPUs.
