Samsung Galaxy "Tape" to come with Android 2.2
The new Samsung Galaxy "Tape" will get on the market as soon as Android 2.2 operating system will be launched, says a Vietnamesse tech website. We didn't knew too much about this new handset, but now there are also some specs available for us. The smartphone will be powered up by an AMR Cortex A8 processor, clocked at 1.2 GHZ (which can be a hit) and will have 16GB on-board storage. There's also the option for a microSD card slot (expandable to 32GB, but available until 48). The battery will be a 4.000mAh.
There are actually two mobile phones that will be released with this name, the second being probably called "Mini". The 7-inch variant will have, for sure, the Super AMOLED Display Samsung used us with. Rumours suggest there is also going to be a name change in the process, but because we don't know anything for sure, we'll leave it like that.
So, about the launch date, there's still nothing sure about when Android 2.2 will come, but as we heard and told you earlier on, Samsung Tape will come as soon as Froyo will be released.
