Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge was the first Dual-edged curved smartphone on the market, the device's sales was higher than expected. Today, BBC reported that the Korean giant is struggling to meet the S6 Edge supply demand.

The reason of this shortage is that the curved screen of the Edge is very difficult to manufacture, it takes a long complicated process that leads on delays in the production line.

"Samsung will have a serious issue if the shortage is due to the difficulty of producing the curved screen. They [Samsung] must succeed in the launch of these new flagship phones to regain leadership in the high-end segment. They have a window of opportunity until the new iPhone comes out. The product and design is great - but [it] lacks service differentiation." - Mobile analyst, Thomas Husson at Forrester told the BBC
