Alright, it's confirmed, sprint will be releasing the updates of Android OS 2.1 to both HTC hero and the Samsung Moment.  Not sure why they just can't give out the updates when the Motorola Droid and Nexus one are getting them.  But to each of their own.

Today Sprint indicated via its official Twitter page that it is currently working with HTC and Samsung to bring Android 2.1 to the Hero and Moment, respectively. It doesn't expect those updates to become available until early in the second quarter of 2010
