HTC will be holding a press conference on February 19, a week before the Mobile World Congress 2013. The press conference event will take place in New York and will start at 10:00AM EST.

Currently there are rumors going around that the Taiwanese company will announce its HTC M7 device. The smartphone will boast the smallest 1080p screen on the market, and the 4.7" display mind-blowing pixel a pixel density of 468 ppi.

We saw the leaked images of the HTC M7, but yet to be officially confirmed at this point. It's highly likely the M7 to run HTC's latest Sense UI 5.0 on top of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Not so good news this morning.  Samsung will not be holding its usual press conference at the start of Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona. After talking to people "familiar with the matter", Pocket-lint can confirm that Samsung won't be holding its usual Unpacked event at the world's largest mobile phone trade show at the end of February, which means Samsung Galaxy S4 launch unlikely.

At last year's Mobile World Congress, Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, Galaxy Note 10.1 slates, and Galaxy Beam. Now, the company is expected to officially uncover the Galaxy Note 8.0, but we are not sure why press conferences won't be happening for this device.

Samsung declined to comment when we asked for clarification on its Mobile World Congress 2013 press conference plans.

Samsung announces that their flagship smartphone will be available in seven mobile carriers in the US. AT&T, Cricket, C Spire, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon will all carry the popular smart phone and will undoubtedly register record sales for the device, seeing as it is really quite well-liked by many.

Most, if not all of these carriers offer the S 4 for at least $629 for a one-time cash out or a lower fee for a two-year contract with the carrier. Other retailers have also either announced or have leaked documents purporting that they will start selling the S 4 tentatively on the 26th.

Furthermore, Samsung also released official information that the US version will get the Snapdragon chipset. The Galaxy S 4 enjoys unprecedented popularity ever since rumors have started coming out about its launch. We are now just patiently waiting for the HTC One's arrival to see if it will have a relatively significant share of the smartphone pie as well and if it can really hold a candle against the Galaxy S 4.

Samsung Press Release

You could tell whenever a Nokia phone is coming when @evleaks tweets about this. Today he's done exactly that using the approaching Lumia 525, a follow up towards the uber popular Lumia 520. We haven't seen a lot of photos from the Lumia 525 until these last couple of days. According to usual, the photo from @evleaks is really a press render from Nokia.

The press render provides for us a obvious look of the Lumia 525 design. It appears a little thinner compared to 520 with sharper curved edges. We are able to also observe that the red-colored, yellow, and whitened colors are glossy rather than the matte finish located on the 520. Rumored specs for that Lumia 525 incorporate a dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, along with a 5MP camera. It's also stated to possess a concentrate on music, but we're unsure what which means.

@evleaks also mentions this phone is going to be arriving 2013. If you are searching for a minimal-cost Home windows Phone device this is someone to watch out for this holidays.
