In case you're still left in the dark, HTC started a trade-in deal last month that allows you to receive a $100 prepaid Visa when you buy an HTC One and exchange an old smartphone. According to the company, they are extending the promo until April 4th to accommodate those who still request for it. To qualify for the promo, you need to register online and send in a copy of your HTC One receipt to get your gift card. That can be considered an outright $100 discount-if you don't mind waiting for the unit to be available because of the delay.
HTC looks like it really wants to compete head-to-head with Samsung and Apple and with the recent delays in the delivery of their HTC One; this just might appease anxious customers for a bit. Hope is not lost for the Taiwanese company and the bottom line is that people just want to see what the HTC One can offer and it's taking painfully long.

HTC announced that HTC One will only be available in North America on the last week of April due to shortage of parts of its camera. Although this may sound quite disappointing, the company actually did not expect to see more people interested on the HTC One since it is literally competing against the phone of the year, which is the Samsung Galaxy S IV.
First markets to receive the HTC One are Germany and UK, along with Taiwan, which is the home of the company. All others need to wait until April to get their units-if HTC shipments do materialize before April ends.

HTC has seen unprecedented demand for and interest in the new HTC One, and the care taken to design and build it is evidenced in early reviews. The new HTC One will roll out in the UK, Germany and Taiwan next week and across Europe, North America and most of Asia-Pacific before the end of April. We appreciate our customers' patience, and believe that once they have the phone in their hands they will agree that it has been worth the wait.
Originally, HTC planned to launch the One on March 15th but immediately retracted the time to March 29th because of the shortage in components. Also, for this reason, some markets would have to wait before they can get their hands on this much-awaited smartphone by the quietly brilliant company. Delays do happen when it comes to launches, however, let's hope that this is the last time that the date will be moved again.
According to a screenshot taken by the folks at Engadget, it looks to us like the cheapest HTC One on contract will be priced at $250. Engadget did not receive any official information regarding the flagship's pricing or specific availability. But this should give you some idea what the plans of AT&T will likely be.
The 64GB model looks like it will take a bit more time to get out of the gate, though the tipster says it will cost $299.99 when it's ready.
Other than AT&T, T-Mobile has announced that the HTC One is "coming soon" for $99 up-front, and rumors earlier today suggested Sprint's model would cost $199.99 with a two-year contract. AT&T's rumored $249.99 price-point would place the HTC One in direct competition with Samsung's Galaxy S4, which is already the clear winner when it comes to popularity.

In the following weeks or months, the next most anticipated device from Samsung, the Galaxy Note III, will get its fair share of rumors and news until it gets launched. First up is its pilot testing, which will be attended by AT&T executives, according to Koreatimes insider.
A prototype will be demonstrated in front of a select panel, including the Chief Marketing Officer for the US carrier. New marketing strategies will reportedly be laid out for the 5.9-incher.
Although this proves the possible release of a new Galaxy Note version in the near future, others are quite peeved because a rumor is going on that another phablet was going to be introduced that was 6.7 inches in size.
Others think that Samsung should focus more on their core high-end products than setting out to create various versions for their mid- and low-range clients and making various sizes of their devices. Whatever the Korean giant's plan is with the Note 3 still remains to be seen and should be revealed to us little by little in "staged" or even "accidental" leaks, much like it was with the S 4. Just sit tight.

Last week, we revealed the details and the specs of the Galaxy S IV mini to you. Now we have words that the Galaxy S IV could be announced by Samsung this week, if you are interested in the Mini instead the regular version, this news is for you.
the Galaxy S4 Mini features a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display with 960 x 540 pixels, 8MP rear camera, front-facing camera, MicroSD card support, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz Nature UX.
The regular Galaxy S4 Mini which comes with a quad-core processor has the model number GT- i9190, while the dual SIM version with dual-core CPU is the GT-i9192. There will also be an LTE versions with model# GT-i9195, and one with TD-SCDMA connectivity made for China Mobile GT-i9198.
The smartphone could go on sale starting late May, or early June, in two color versions: black and white. We still have no idea about the exact costs of the models, so we will keep you all posted.
