Okay, androidcentral just got this screenshot where it's telling us that the Google Nexus One will not be sold in Verizon Stores, it will only be selling online through www.Google.com/Phones.

We don't know the exact date yet, but I figure it's sometime in April, as soon as I have the date, I will make another post.

As far as pricing going, I doubt it will be over $200 with a 2-year contract on Verizon Wireless.

Keep Tune.

Thanks AndroidCentral for this image.

If a phone's not really yours till you've got it how you like it, the HTC Desire is for you. It's got Android inside, giving you the power to customise up to seven home screens.

And whatever you're doing on your phone - from apps to the web - you'll be wowed by the Desire's speed. Your contacts are simpler too. Link the people in your address book to their Facebook, Twitter and email accounts. Then sit back and let their updates, mails, texts and more come to you - all in one place.

A massive 3.7" touchscreen lets you see everything clearly - and the clever trackpad makes getting around the Desire (and the web) incredibly easy.

Want a phone you can make your own? Go for the HTC Legend. With up to seven home screens, there's plenty of room to get things how you like them. And inside, there's Android. It's great for everything from apps to the web.

Your contacts are simpler too. Link your contacts to their Facebook, Twitter and email accounts. Then sit back and let their updates, mails, texts and more come to you - all in one place.

There's a five megapixel camera with flash too - and the power to pinch the touchscreen to zoom in on photos and websites. All this, plus Adobe Flash - so the web on your phone looks like the web on your PC. It's also pre-loaded with a Vodafone 360 home screen, giving you access to your favourite web sites, contacts, apps and games - all at the touch of a button.

The incredible Sony Ericsson X10 is powered by AndroidTM. So it's easy to sync with your GoogleTM account - and with PicasaTM, Google's popular photo sharing site.

It's a looker too, with a huge four inch touchscreen that'll blow you away. Switch fast to widescreen by turning the X10 on its side. Then enjoy movies and the web in stunning definition - as well as photos taken with its 8.1 megapixel camera.

Want great apps for your X10? Choose from hundreds at the online Android market. Get everything from the latest sports, news or weather updates to favourites like Last.fm and Facebook.

The Nokia C6 looks like Nokia N97's little brother, it also has the QWERTY keyboard just like the Nokia N97, it has about 256 MBs of internal memory, and of course it can be extended through using the micro sd card.

It looks like the first actual trials will start only in 2012, when a U.S. court should decide which company infringed which patents.

Handset leader Nokia sued iPhone maker Apple last October, accusing the U.S. firm of using its patented technologies without paying for them.

Nokia is seeking payment of up to 1 billion euros ($1.36 billion), analysts say.

Apple filed a countersuit in Delaware on December 11 accusing Nokia of infringing 13 Apple patents. It later removed four patents from the list.

Legal battles are increasingly common in the mobile industry as players vie for a piece of the fast-growing smartphone market.

Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and others will soon start selling their next generation services. What does that mean?We have tracked the changes from 2G to 2.5G to 3G which is where we are today, and evolving to 4G over the next couple years. That's where LTE falls in.

Bottom line is there are too many confusing names floating around the industry today? Who are they for? To build the company up in the customer mind? Maybe that was the original plan, but we are way past that reality now. Today customers don't have a clue what all these names mean. Basically it is just the next generation which means faster connections allowing more to do like downloading music, watching live tv, social networks, and all the amazing things we've been chattering about.

Verizon Wireless will have its first next-generation 4G handset in mid-2011, about six months earlier than the company had said before.

The carrier could have a phone that runs on Long Term Evolution, a type of high-speed wireless technology, three to six months after it launches the service, Anthony Melone, chief technology officer at Verizon Wireless, said in an interview. The company expects to launch the service in some markets by the end of the year.

The move is a key step in making faster, next-generation ...

You know Bell create Telephone, but who created the Cell Phone?  His name is Martin Cooper, here's a brief description of Martin over at Wikipedia.
