T-Mobile USA has ended its year-old exclusive search deal with Yahoo, and has replaced the company with its chief rival-Google.
The deal shifts the U.S. mobile search dominance away from Yahoo and in favor of Google, which now works with two of the top four carriers. The hand-off between Yahoo and Google was completed as recently as Wednesday, and when visiting the T-Mobile portal from a BlackBerry today, it showed Google as the prominent search provider at the top of the screen-not Yahoo.
A Yahoo spokesperson confirmed it was no longer working with T-Mobile for search, and a T-Mobile USA spokesperson declined to comment.

T-Mobile UK today unveiled the latest addition to its market-leading AndroidTM range: the T-Mobile Pulse Mini, which will be available on pay as you go, priced at £99.99. The device is the sixth Android smartphone for the network and follows the Samsung Galaxy Portal (i5700) and LG InTouchMax (GW620) announced last month.
The Pulse Mini is a slimmed-down version of the T-Mobile Pulse, which became the world's first pay as you go Android handset when it launched last October. Manufactured by Huawei, the new version boasts a 2.8Â touch screen, 3.2 Mega pixel camera with LED Flash and runs on the latest Android 2.1 software. Unlike its predecessor, it also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, with a memory expandable to 16GB for storing music, photos and movies.

The difference between the myTouch2 / myTouch Slide and the original T-Mobile myTouch 3G is that the former comes with a sliding QWERTY keyboard. There's also an optical trackpad instead of a trackball.
Here's the specs of the myTouch Slide:
* 320 x 480 pixels touchscreen display
* 3.5mm headset jack
* ARM11 processor
* Photo camera with LED flash
* MicroSD card slot (accessible without removing the battery / back cover)
* 1,300 mAh battery
This phone will be available May 17th, no price announced yet.

T-Mobile will be pushing HTC Bravo at the end of the month, similar device to the Nexus One according to sources - bringing advancements like an optical trackpad for scrolling (getting one over on the Google phone's old-school trackball), multi-touch for iPhone-esque pinching to zoom and the Sense user interface that we fell in love with on the HTC Hero.
