You've seen the unboxing, you've read over the stats time and time again, you've had the day marked on your calendar for weeks...nay months! The day is finally here! Those days of T-Mobile Customer Service Representatives pushing the aging Wing whenever a customer brings up that "other phone" are now a thing of the past!
Normally, we would have put this up a little earlier, but with the way things are around here I guess it's better late than never right? The Samsung Behold is now available for purchase and upgrade over at T-Mobile in both Espresso and Rose for the low low price of $149.99 after that $50 mail in rebate.
There has been quite a lot of excitement about this phone over in the forums, so head on over to the Samsung area and let us know what you think!

http://www.Samsung-Eternity.com
The Samsung Eternity is a phone that zigs nicely, but we really wanted it to zag.
Features for which we didn't have high hopes, like the onscreen keyboard or the GPS navigation, actually performed much better than we expected, while some of the key features for this device, like the AT&T Mobile TV service or the Web browser, fell flat.
The phone was nice and responsive, whether we were moving widgets around on the screen or switching the screen orientation as we rotated the phone, and though we think Samsung needs to take the TouchWIZ interface back to the drawing board, once we dug past the standby screen to reach the real features on this phone, it was easy to come away pleased, if not impressed.
Release: November 2008. Price: $150.

The Tocco Lite is actually Samsung S5230, the handset we saw back in March alongside the Samsung S5600.
The different moniker is used by Samsung due to the fact that its Tocco brand has become quite popular in the UK (the F480 and the UltraTouch S8300 are sold under this brand).
The features of Tocco Lite include:
* Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity
* 3 inch TFT touchscreen display with 262K color and 240 x 400 pixels
* TouchWiz UI
* Accelerometer
* Facebook, MySpace and YouTube widgets
* Bluetooth 2.1
* Samsung DNSe 2.0 music technology
* FM Radio with RDS
* 3.2 MP camera
* 50 MB of built-in memory
* microSD card support, up to 8 GB
* 104 x 53 x 11.9 mm
Samsung Tocco Lite / S5230 will be available in the UK starting May.

NAVTEQ announced that it has signed an agreement to supply NAVTEQ map data and content to Samsung Electronics.
Samsung Electronics will have access to all 76 countries in the NAVTEQ map database. The agreement also allows Samsung Electronics the rights to utilize NAVTEQ content including Visual Content, Speed Limits, Extended Lanes and NAVTEQ Discover Cities.
Samsung Electronics will launch the Samsung I8910 HD (also known as the OMNIA HD) with NAVTEQ Map and content in Europe in May. The GPS-enabled Samsung I8910 HD will offer drivers an enriched navigation experience through enhanced visual content such as 3D landmarks and 3D city models. It also offers advanced navigation with speed limits and extended lanes. More uniquely with NAVTEQ Discover Cities on Samsung I8910 HD, urban travelers will be able to take full advantage of their surroundings and help them get from place to place with a variety of routing options.
The Samsung I8910 HD is incorporated with a social networking functionality which uses NAVTEQ map data and content. It allows users to find their friends online and determine the quickest way to route or walk to them. Users can also use the local POI search capability and find places recommended by their friends.

We first saw Verizon's Samsung Alias 2 U750 at the end of March, but back then there were no details about its release date.
Now it looks like the new Alias 2 is ready to hit the shelves on May 11, and, according to Phone Arena, it will come with e-ink technology - as initially assumed.
Samsung Alias 2's "Magic Key keypad" uses e-ink to transform itself from a regular alphanumeric keypad into a full QWERTY one, depending on how you open the clamshell.

The Samsung Propel Pro is a compact slider phone with an easy to use joystick that allows users to navigate through the phone's menus and messages seamlessly. The phone allows users to access their multiple email accounts, through Microsoft Direct Push for corporate email, and At&T Xpress Mail for accessing their personal emaila ccount. It also allows over-the-air account synchronization for contacts, calendar, and task lists using Microsoft Exchange Server.
The Samsung Propel also lets users browse the web using IE Mobile, sync schedules and contacts as well as manage their Windows mobile documents including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. It also features threaded SMS, Internet connection sharing, mobile banking and voice command.
For enterprise-grade mobile solution, the Samsung Propel supports Microsoft's System Center Mobile Device Manager. This allows Mobile Device Manager administrators with software distribution and update capabilities as well as security-enhanced access to company date.
Other features and specs of the Samsung Propel include, AT&T GPS Navigator, GPS-enabled turn-by-turn voice, on-screen driving or walking directions, colorful 3-D moving maps, mobile banking, AT&T Video Share, MobiTV, AT&T Mobile Music, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3.0 megapixel camera with video capture, and microSD memory card slot.

The good: The Samsung Impression has a brilliant touch screen, a roomy keyboard, and an intuitive design. It offers a functional midrange feature set and admirable multimedia performance and call quality.
The bad: The Samsung Impression has a proprietary headset jack, the camera lacks a flash, and keyboard shortcuts are few. Also, it lacks voice dialing and the promised battery life is rather short.
The bottom line: The Samsung Impression isn't perfect, but it ranks high on our list as a messaging and multimedia phone.

Samsung Omnia Pro B7330 is a clear upgrade to Omnia PRO B7320 and when you compare them head to head, the differences aren't many. To start with, B7330 smartphone has a revamped key design and will come pre-installed with Windows Mobile 6.5 OS.
The screen too is bumped to 2.63-inches (320×320) as compared to B7320's 2.4-inch (320×240). Other changes are its 1500mAh battery, cut the thickness by around 2mm and 320MB of internal memory (we're not sure if it includes ROM as well).
Amongst the common things, this phone too has HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.2MP camera, GPS and a microSD card slot.

Here are the main specs of Samsung Corby:
* Quad-band GSM connectivity with GPRS and EDGE
* 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display
* Access to YouTube, MySpace and Facebook
* Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP
* MP3 player
* FM radio
* 2MP camera
* MicroSD card support
* 103 x 57 x 13 mm
* 92 grams
Samsung Corby S3650 was recently approved by the FCC, so it might be launched in the US, via AT&T or T-Mobile, as a 3G-less, inexpensive handset.
the Samsung S3650 Corby should be available in Europe in the next few weeks - just like the weird-looking Samsung B3310.

We knew this was coming, it's just matter of time. Today, Verizon finally released the Samsung Rogue on it's website.
Here are some key features:
- Ultra Brilliant Display

The Rogue is notably featuring a 3.1-inch AMOLED display (Verizon calls it "ultra brilliant"), a 3 megapixel cam with flash and on-board editing, microSD support up to 16GB, full HTML browsing, Microsoft Office document viewing, TouchWiz, and naturally, that full slide-out keyboard that makes it much better than the old Samsung Glyde.

Starting with December 2, Verizon Wireless customers will find the new Samsung Omnia II available for purchase at all Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online on the carrier's website. The price tag for the phone has been set at $199.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate.
The Samsung Omnia II is expected to arrive at Verizon in black with red accents on the battery cover, while delivering a 3.7-inch ultra-brilliant touch screen WVGA AMOLED display, a soft QWERTY keyboard with Swype technology, Samsung's enhanced 3D cube user interface, full HTML Web browsing capabilities via Opera 9.5, and fast access to social networking sites through a shortcuts widget.

Competitor is definitely a good thing in this highly competitive mobile industry. As you may already know, Samsung had announced that they will be coming out with their own mobile app platform named "BADA".
Mobilecrunch was lucky enough to get their spot on a invitation to the launch event. which according to this invite they just got will be on December 8th at a press conference in London. We've confirmed two speakers so far: Dr. HS Lee, Samsung's EVP and Head of Media Solution Center, and Kevin Thau, Head of Mobile at Twitter.

Talking about a touch screen mobile phone success, it would still be an understatement. Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a leading mobile phone provider, marked the sale of its 50 millionth full touch screen mobile phone globally this month, confirming its leadership in this fast-growing market segment.
Samsung has sold approximately 40 million full touch screen devices this year through the end of November, compared with around 10 million in 2008. The growth in sales shows the rapid adoption of full touch screen phones by mainstream consumers who enjoy the convenience of the intuitive user interface, powerful multimedia features and sleek designs.

The Samsung Galaxy 2 makes it a good competitor for the Nexus One and Xperia X10 and other top of the range smartphones of 2010. Expected release date is Q2 2010 but no pricing info yet.
Samsung Galaxy 2 specs:
- - 1 GHz Snapdragon
- - 3.7 inch AMOLED touchscreen
- - 5 MP camera
- - 32 GB internal memory
- - Android 2.1
- - 3.5 mm jack
- - and of course all the other goodies that make a decent smartphone, like GPS, WiFi and such.
