Reports from BGR confirm that Google Upcoming Android version Jelly Bean 5.0 will be coming on Q3, 2012 not as rumored before to be during Q2. This is sound very logical as ICS has only captured about 2% of the market and not all legacy devices got the Update yet, such as the Galaxy S II as samsung has just started rolling-out the update or its users, This Market share will increase as more and more devices are getting the Updates from various manufactures like Samsung, HTC, Sony and Motorola.
It is possible that Google push up the release to September (the last month of Q3) in order to steal some release buzz from Microsoft's Windows 8 tablets, and to get in before Apple's big reveal of the next iPhone, which is likely to happen in October.

This is not a Rumor or an expectation, its Official, Asus Corporate VP Benson Lin said:
"Asus is very close to Google, so once they have Android 5.0 I think there will be a high possibility that we will be the first wave to offer the Jelly Bean update." Asus VP, Benson Lin.
Well, Asus VP told the truth: Asus is really close to Google, and it will likely be in the first wave to offer the Jelly Bean update, just like Asus was the first to offer the Ice Cream Sandwich update after it was released.

But The Question is... Why Asus able to make this statement truthfully without any info available about Android 5.0 JB yet? Well, That's Because of two important things:
1- Asus does not put a heavy skin on Android, and
2- Asus does not lock its tablets to a carrier. This means that there is little work to be done to get Android working on Asus devices, and no carrier approval to wait on, which are the two biggest roadblocks to Android updates.

If you have used a Motorola Android device over the past year or so, you have very likely experienced Motorola own webtop mode, this allowing your smartphone a desktop-like interface when plugged into an HDMI-capable display.
The information we gathered leads to the idea that Android 5.0 JB will have a desktop mode which activates whenever the device is plugged into a larger display. Could this have anything to do with Google recent near-complete deal in which they are acquiring Motorola Mobility? It certainly would allow them to avoid patent suits should they actually make a desktop mode.
The next version of Android is certainly going to be called "Jelly Bean" simply because of the naming conventions that Google has adopted for Android.
Have a peek at the demo below of webtop as it existed in late 2011 and see if you think it is viable for the future of all Android devices. So Are you Ready for your New Desktop/Mobile linux-based Operating System Jelly Bean ?

Remember, The Photos you see here is just a Mock-up of a Concept Android 5.0 Jelly Bean device and its Not Real, its called the Google Galaxy Ultima.

This concept phone packs a 4.7 inches RGB IPS+ display with 720p display which generates 1000 nits of brightness. The back of the handset is with Kevlar material and it comes with steel frame which protects the internal part of the device. CPU is choose to be a quadra core Exynos 5250 and graphical support is via Mali GPU. It will include 20 mega pixel camera with 5 mega pixel front facing camera and this phone will come with waterproof and bullet proof glass. Remember that this measures 9 mm thickness.

Android 5.0 Jelly Bean may arrive as early as Q2 2012, supply chain sources claim, with Google apparently integrating Chrome OS functionality for dual-boot tablets and netbooks. Those are not the search giant only dual-OS ambitions. However, insiders tells that Google is pushing Android 5.0 and Windows 8 hybrids to its manufacturing partners, for notebooks, netbooks and tablets that offer the best of both platforms. but we will not see any Android 5.0 JB devices till 2013.
Although Google is yet to comment significantly on whether Ice Cream Sandwich has met its expectations in the market, it is clear that Android 4.0 is yet to gain a significant foothold. According to Google's own stats, as of February 1 2012 only 1-percent of devices were running ICS, with the majority still on Android 2.3.x Gingerbread.

The dual-booting Android 5.0 Jelly Bean and Windows 8 machines will be able to hot-swap between the two platforms, the sources indicate, rather than demanding a reboot each time. That would give users the opportunity to use Android for its web-centric functionality and speed, while switching to Windows would offer the various legacy and business apps many users still demand.
Also, It is worth remembering that Microsoft Windows 8 hardware requirements apparently block second OS installation on ARM-based PCs by users, thanks to a locked Secure Boot system, though it is unclear whether OEMs are permitted to do so before the hardware leaves the factory.
Google Will Speed-up Android 5.0 Developerment
A Taiwan-based supply chain makers said to Digitimes:
"Android 5.0 will be further optimized for tablet PCs, while Google will also integrate its Chrome system functions to push dual-operating system designs. Brand vendors can either choose to adopt only Android 5.0 or add Android 5.0 to Windows 8 devices with the ability to switch between the two OSes without the need to shut down the computer.
However, since Android 4.0 did not perform as well as expected, several of Google's downstream partners are turning conservative about Android 5.0."
