"We're trying to create the illusion that you're just flying over the city, almost as if you were in your own personal helicopter," said Peter Birch, a product manager for Google Earth.

Google's head of engineering for its maps product, Brian McClendon, said the company was using a fleet of airplanes owned and operated by contractors and flying exclusively for Google.

You may have heard about the Google Nexus Tablet rumors before. Today, We get some REAL evidence that the tablet exist. The Upcoming Google-branded tablet will be Named "Google Nexus 7" tablet. It will be Manufactured by Asus as the first Nexus Tablet from Google and the first Nexus product by Asus. The tablet's specs leaked on Rightware's Power Board benchmark results.

Nexus 7 benchmark

The Nexus 7 tablet will have a 7-inch Display with 1280 x 768 resolution, powered by Nvidia 4-PLUS-1 Tegra 3 Quad-core processor clocked at 1.3Ghz along with Nvidia ULP (Ultra-Low-Power) Geforce GPU for Graphics. The tablet will be powered by the Upcoming Android 4.1 JellyBean and here is the code that contain the OS Info of the Nexus 7.

"os":

"android":
{
"model": "Nexus 7";
"hardware": "grouper";
"manufacturer": "asus";
"device": "grouper";
"brand": "google";
"display": "210064-userdebug 4.1 JRN51B dev-keys";
"version_sdk": "4.1";
"board": "grouper";
"version_code": "1";
}
}

As you can see above, the device code name: grouper. This follows in line with Google's long tradition of naming Nexus (or official developer hardware) devices after fish. The XOOM, for example, was known alternatively as Wingray and Stingray, based on the variant. The Nexus One was Mahi-mahi. The G1 was trout. So, grouper makes a lot of sense here.

The tablet may be Coming this fall with a very competitive price of $300 and will be thefirst tablet to have Android 4.1 JellyBean.

Google wallet

It seems like there might be a bug in relation to Google Wallet that can prevent users from using their smartphone to make purchases. Apparently, an HTC EVO 4G LTE user was having problems with HTC Sense crashing. The phone's owner was told to factory reset the unit and he did. But that was actually the beginning of the problem he had with Google Wallet. While the factory reset did resolve the force closing of HTC Sense, it also permanently disabled Google Wallet without even giving one bit of warning.

wallet

The owner of the device called Google and the answer he received was extremely unsatisfying as he was told that he needed to have been covered by a warranty and that he could get the phone repaired as long as he was willing to pay for it. NFC enabled models have a little mechanism inside the NFC component on the phone called the "secure element". If this "secure element" is tampered with, or even in the case of a factory reset, those attempting to pay using Google Wallet will receive a "secure element error" message. And just to be clear, this issue is not limited to the HTC EVO 4G LTE. Any NFC enabled device using Gogle Wallet will find the feature disabled with a factory reset, even the Google Nexus S 4G and the Samsung GALAXY Nexus.
