Verizon & HTC has just revealed their latest flagship device in a New York event today, HTC DROID DNA, One of the best Android smartphones and the first Android device on Verizon to pack a Full HD display.

The DROID DNA features the first of its kind 5-inch 1080p SuperLCD3 display and is powered by the Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset with a 1.5GHz Quad-core Krait processor, Adreno 320 graphics and 2GB RAM.

The DROID DNA runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean accompanied by the HTC Sense 4+ UI a combo we already met with the One X+. It will hit the Verizon's stores on November,21st for $200, with pre-orders starting today.

Still, the designers and engineers have taken care to keep the device as compact, sleek and reducing the bezel size to a minimum. Check  the Hands-on Photos below.

The screen is nothing short of amazing. The lighting in the event room isn't perfect, but we're impressed by what we're seeing. The One X screen was one of the best we've seen, but this one is even better.

It's not just the pixel density, which is over than 441ppi, the new Super LCD3 tech in the DROID DNA seems to provide even richer, crisper and deeper colors.

Good News for HTC fans who have been waiting for an International version of the US Verizon's Exclusive DROID DNA...The wait is almost over.

A press shot of the HTC Deluxe has made its way to Twitter. The yet to be announced smartphone will be the internationally available relative of the 5" 1080p display sporting HTC beast for Verizon Wireless. HTC Deluxe Specifications will be very much the same as DROID DNA in hardware and software, and even the design too.

HTC has released the source code of its Verizon's monstrous phone DROID DNA on its developers website.

Naturally, the source code is based on Android 4.1, and should prove to be pretty useful for custom ROM developers. The code can be downloaded from HTC's own HTCDev site, which can be found as a source link below.

2013 will be the year of Android flagships with 5" 1080p screens, everyone manufacture will release a 5-inch flagship. HTC's phone is already out for US carrier Verizon it's called the DROID DNA and has already seen its first price cuts.
