Exynos 5450

The new Samsung-made Nexus 10 uses the next-generation Exynos chipset an Exynos 5 with two Cortex-A15 cores at 1.7GHz and Mali-604 GPU, to be exact the chip name is Exynos 5250

Rumors, from a korean source, that the next Samsung Galaxy S IV will use an Exynos 5 chipset should come as no surprise, but the rumor is pointing to the Exynos 5450 with a Quad-core A15 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz and a beefier Quad-core Mali-658 GPU, which is faster than the Nexus 10's Exynos 5250

The Exynos 5450 will be made on a 28nm process (instead of 32nm as the Exynos 5250) and the CPU will probably be downclocked to at least 1.7GHz, but even then battery might be an issue.

13mp Galaxy S IV

Samsung Galaxy S III is Now one of the Best Top-selling Android smartphone this year, packing a 8MP camera sensor. Even if Samsung denied the rumors about releasing the 4th Generation Galaxy S next year, that will be Named "Galaxy S4" or "Galaxy S IV", a 13-megapixel camera module has been leaked from Samsung documents that is reported to be included on Samsung's Upcoming Galaxy S IV.

Moreover, more megapixels also make it more challenging for a device to perform well in low light conditions due to the simple fact that pixels get smaller and noise gets in easier. Expectations around Galaxy S IV to bring some big camera improvements to the series after 2 generation packing the same 8MP sensor.

The 13-megapixel sensor is said to have been originally intended for the third-gen Galaxy S and the second Galaxy Note, but never made it to those devices. If such a camera arrive in the S IV, it'd capture images with 4208 x 3120 pixel resolution which will require more processing power and more RAM too.

We've reported that Samsung has started manufacturing a 5-inch 1080p sAMOLED HD panel with 441ppi pixel density to be included on the 4th Generation Galaxy S. According to a report out of Korea, Samsung has been struggling to mass produce these displays because of the evaporation process technology that it uses. Samsung Display is trying to obtain advanced LITI technology from 3M that allows OLED material to be more smoothly printed on glass.

Those with knowledge of the situation say that Samsung is still having difficulties with the technology. Blue-colored materials are slowing down Samsung's mass production of the displays.

The source says that due to these problems, Samsung might not be able to release the device (Samsung Galaxy S IV) using the panel on time.
