Android 4.0.4

Android ICS 4.0 was launched on November 17, 2011 along with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus but like every new software, had some few bugs. Due to this, Google had to release the first update which was the ICS 4.0.2 on November 28 which is very close to the device release date. This version also has some bugs too.

GSMArena Nexus users complain/bugs/reports

Meanwhile, Samsung Nexus S (previous Google Nexus flagship) users is suffering with their 4.0.3 Bugs and issues such as the vibration feedback of the keys below the display occasionally fading, or the vibration stopping altogether. Then there is also the USB transfer speed, that has dropped from around 5 MB/s to 1.5 MB/s. They can't get any fix to their issues from Google or an official response. GSMArena posted a photo of some Nexus users complaining about this matter (Photo Above).

The Android 4.0.4 ROM for the Verizon Galaxy Nexus that was leaked last Month is still not Officially released by Google or even hinted to a Release date for this update. But as we say Better late than Buggy! This Update will fix all Galaxy Nexus known bugs and End the suffering of the Nexus S users.

Google Nexus S will receive their Official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean from Google Tomorrow. Currently, some of the overseas wireless carriers are teasing its customers with the inevitable arrival of the highly anticipated software update for the Google Nexus S.

Specifically, Vodafone Australia details on its site the following message:

"Approved by Vodafone, roll out by Google scheduled for 1:00pm AEST, 19th July 2012."

Meanwhile, SFR France is telling its customers this juicy morsel of news:

Nexus S JB

Vodafone Australia, had to pull out the Nexus S Jelly Bean 4.1 after the software failed to meet the country's regulatory requirements related to emergency calls.

In a statement, Vodafone Australia said it did not know when the update would resume. However, phrasing the turn of events in that manner would indicate that there were some Google Nexus S owners in the country who were lucky enough to get the update before it was pulled. On the other hand, considering the reasons cited for the halt in the proceedings, if those that did receive the update need to make an emergency call, it would seem that their luck would have run out.
