Right here's one more image of the unannounced HTC Runnymede - this time it's clearly an official render, which shows the smartphone's entrance, again, and right side (like most official HTC renders do).

As you may see beneath, the Runnymede is sort of skinny - it's most likely 9.9mm skinny, just like the Home windows Telephone Mango-primarily based HTC Titan (with which the Runnymede shares some features). We are able to also see the Beats Audio logo on the back of the handset.

The HTC Runnymede will come with Android 2.three Gingerbread, Sense UI, a 4.7 inch WVGA display, 1.5GHz single-core processor, 16GB or 32GB of inside reminiscence, 8MP rear digital camera with dual LED flash, and a entrance-going through camera. The smartphone will most likely be introduced really soon. We'll clearly let you already know when it happens.

The HTC Bliss has been featured within the rumor mill for months now as one of the first Android devices developed particularly for the female crowd. With its odd inexperienced exterior and the potential for a feminine-friendly set of apps pre-loaded, it's an fascinating concept, however one that just turned whacky thanks to a look at its accent list. Anybody all for a "attraction indicator"? Based on the This is my next crew, this appeal indicator will act as an attachment to the cellphone that may light up throughout incoming calls or texts. The purpose being, that if the device is in a handbag, murse or different bag, this charm indicator may hold outdoors to let you already know when your telephone is receiving some action. Kind of a cool concept...time or bust out a fanny pack.

Other than the fancy appeal indicator, we also get a have a look at the internal specs which included a single-core 1GHz processor, dual cameras, and 768MB of RAM. It's a next-gen cellphone, however it's additionally up there with the Thunderbolts of the world.

We are additionally leaning in direction of this gadget becoming the HTC Rhyme on Verizon right here within the states. The Bliss, as listed above, is headed to Europe with HSPA radios, but we've got this mid-vary ADR6330 (Rhyme) smartphone that has for essentially the most half eluded us. Right here's to hoping they ditch the moldy wheatgrass coloration scheme when it makes its means over.

If you have been waiting for the HTC status to come to the Market, here it is, HTC Status now available on AT&T.  The HTC Status runs on Android Gingerbread under HTC Sense. It also features full Facebook integration, allowing you to post photos, update your status, chat with friends and more with the dedicated Facebook Share Button.

The HTC Status is a beautiful phone with good Facebook integration and an excellent keyboard, at the right price. But I can't recommend it with much enthusiasm because of how badly many apps (including Facebook!) work with the horizontal screen. Other Android phones don't have the hardware Facebook button, but they still integrate Facebook into their contact books and are more compatible with third-party apps: The $30 LG Phoenix is one affordable example.

If you're looking for a keyboard plus social networking, all of AT&T's offerings have flaws. But I'd take a serious look at the BlackBerry Torch ($49.99, 4 stars), which integrates Facebook very well and has a good keyboard and terrific battery life.

Vodafone has announced that it has started promoting a new, exclusive model of the HTC Desire S. Nonetheless, the only thing that's different right here is the color. Sure, Vodafone now sells you a ‘crimson' version of the Desire S, and apparently this shade is an unique to the operator (not less than in the UK).

So good news for those of you who like your telephones purple (or orange-ish red, as this is). Nothing else has modified, not the specs, and, sadly, not even the monthly contracts. You may get the telephone at no cost provided that you decide to a new 24-month contract that can value you at the least £30 per month - identical to you have to with any other Desire color.

The HTC Desire S has a 1 GHz single-core Qualcomm processor, 768 MB of RAM, 1.1 GB of ROM, a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen with Gorilla Glass, a 5 MP autofocus camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS, and a 1450 mAh battery.

Droidman at HTC Thunderbolt Forum has figured out a way to get around the LTE 4G outage currently experiencing with all the verizon wireless customers.

Yep. Down here in N. California. 1X only. Here is a tip - if you didn't know, Thunderbolt uses a "special" 3G, so during the outage, you may also lose 3G coverage. Here's how you can get it back.

1. Dial ##778# and press call/send
2. Choose Edit Mode. Password is 000000
3. Go to Modem Settings
4. Select Rev A.
5. Select Enable
6. Press Menu -> Commit Modifications
7. Reboot (will auto reboot after 10 seconds if nothing done)

Your phone will use Rev A 3G, but will switch back to 4G when available.

It seems to work for me...

**I am checking to see if you have to do anything to "undo" this when the network is back up and will keep you posted on what I find**

Another colour version of the HTC Unimaginable S has simply been noticed on a Danish retailer's website. If black appeared all too played out for you, you will eventually have an opportunity to get the latest HTC smartphone flagship in red.

Now there is no such thing as a value talked about on the positioning so the pink red Incredible S clearly is not in stock simply but, but its existence is confirmed now. We are not quite certain red is the proper selection for the second option as silver, for example may need had a broader appeal. Nonetheless, having choices is sweet and that's why that is pretty good.

We don't know how soon, and neither for what price (although the price should not be too different from the price of the black version - about $550).

To say that XDA-Developer is good would be an understatement.  The HTC Droid Unbelievable Android 2.three update has arrived unofficially. The update arrives because of the fellows over at XDA Developers again, who managed to get a build of Android 2.3 Gingerbread engaged on the smartphone.

For the reason that preliminary launch of Android 2.3 for the Incredible on December 8, the team has managed to create three extra variations with each of them ironing out the bugs to make it run that little bit better.

Model 4 has now been launched and with that it fixes the 8 Megapixel digital camera, fixes Facebook Sync as well as a few other excellent parts. Solely problems that the device has now could be the GPS and the Camcorder which we assume are being worked on now and will probably be fastened in the near future.

Don't know how this person at android central forums get to the Verizon Wireless website page on the HTC Merge, but it was quickly pulled down, maybe Verizon official found out the page was leaked.

According to this twitter message (who is this guy!), it is true. But you have to take this with a grain of salt as the hardware that has been circulating around looked pretty finalized. LTE won't be ready for phones until 2011 - it will be a mistake for them to delay this phone until Q1 of 2011 when it is this close.
