If you are one of those folks who are trying to order HTC Droid Incredible but were told the phone is out of stock.  You now know who to blame, admitted by Verizon Wireless CEO that Samsung Mobile Display unit, which is unable to make Incredible's 3.7" OLED toucscreen display panels enough quantities to satisfy demand.

At a Barclays Capital Global Communications, Media and Technology conference in New York today, Verizon Wireless CEO Lowell McAdam said that demand for the HTC Droid Incredible has been better than expected, and that the company is having a difficult time keeping the smartphone in stock. The phone made its debut April 29 and within hours it was sold out via the company's Web store. Customers that order the Incredible today can have it by the middle of June.  It's June 16 to be specific.

The HTC Droid Incredible features Android 2.1 and the newest version of the HTC Sense user interface. It uses Qualcomm's 1GHz Snapdragon processor and is the first phone from Verizon Wireless with an 8-megapixel camera. The phone is priced at $199 with a two-year contract.

To say that XDA-Developer is good would be an understatement.  The HTC Droid Unbelievable Android 2.three update has arrived unofficially. The update arrives because of the fellows over at XDA Developers again, who managed to get a build of Android 2.3 Gingerbread engaged on the smartphone.

For the reason that preliminary launch of Android 2.3 for the Incredible on December 8, the team has managed to create three extra variations with each of them ironing out the bugs to make it run that little bit better.

Model 4 has now been launched and with that it fixes the 8 Megapixel digital camera, fixes Facebook Sync as well as a few other excellent parts. Solely problems that the device has now could be the GPS and the Camcorder which we assume are being worked on now and will probably be fastened in the near future.

It seems that as soon as you buy something it's being phased out in a couple of months. Verizon latest deal with phasing out HTC Droid Eris make us think which model could be next? HTC Droid Incredible possibly? I understand that when Droid X comes out nobody is going to buy 'The Incredible' but this constant change does not foster brand loyalty.

It's just like Verizon has phased the Blackberry Tour now to make room for the new Blackberry Bold, as the Blackberry Tour is labelled as "Out of Stock" on it's website.

Consider the IPhone which has been rolled out for a couple of years now and seems to make incremental changes to itself similar to a high end car like BMW, Mercedes, etc. This fosters stability and very high brand loyalty which is very important in the long run. I wish Verizon would finally get the IPhone and rid itself of the constant musical chair as far as phones are concerned.

Thanks Vitaly
