Samsung Omnia Pro B7330 is a clear upgrade to Omnia PRO B7320 and when you compare them head to head, the differences aren't many. To start with, B7330 smartphone has a revamped key design and will come pre-installed with Windows Mobile 6.5 OS.

The screen too is bumped to 2.63-inches (320×320) as compared to B7320's 2.4-inch (320×240). Other changes are its 1500mAh battery, cut the thickness by around 2mm and 320MB of internal memory (we're not sure if it includes ROM as well).

Amongst the common things, this phone too has HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.2MP camera, GPS and a microSD card slot.

At CommunicAsia 2010, Samsung launched two new Windows Mobile phones OMNIA, OMNIA the B7350 Pro 4 (left) and OMNIA B6520 Pro 5 (right), with a QWERTY keyboard. These smartphones running Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5.

The OMNIA Pro 4 has a 2.62 inch LCD 320 × 320 LCD display, 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and video recording. The OMNIA gives Pro 5 2.4 inch 320 × 240 display, a 2 megapixel camera. Both devices have the A-GPS, FM tuner, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, WiFi 802.11b / g and microSD slot.

The Omnia Pro 4 and Pro 5 support quadri-band GSM / EDGE and WCDMA. One works with dual-band WCDMA / HSDPA 7.2 Mbps while the second supports tri-band WCDMA / HSDPA 3.6 Mbps. They will be published in July and August respectively.

In this super compeitive smartphone handset market, Samsung isn't lagging behind at all, one of it's darlings, the Samsung Galaxy S will be released to all major carriers next month.  As you probably already know the Samsung Galaxy S is definitely capable of matching the specs of the HTC Evo 4G.  It also doesn't have the hardware keyboard, a weekness in some people's eyes.

But Samsung isn't going to disappoint folks who love the specs of the Samsung Galaxy S but wanted a hardware qwerty keyboard, the Samsung Galaxy S Pro does exactly that. Here are the features.

  • * Android 2.1, seemingly with TouchWiz UI 3.0
  • * WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
  • * EVDO Rev A / WiMax
  • * VGA front-facing camera
  • * 5MP camera on the back, with "1X optical zoom" (this sounds fishy)
  • * HD video recording
  • * 1 GHz Samsung processor
  • * 512MB of RAM
  • * 8GB of internal memory
  • * SIM card slot (if this is true, the Galaxy S Pro is a global smartphone, so it should also have EDGE/HSDPA connectivity)
