An incredible device should get a sexy name, the HTC Supersonic is not only sexy, powerful, it will be the first device that powered by Sprint's WiMAX capable 4G network, perhaps being the slickest Android handset to date. According to reports, the phone will have a 1 GHz Qualcomm QSD 8250 Snapdragon ARM CPU and 512 MB of DRAM, just like the Nexus One.
Unlike the Nexus One, however, the CPU will be underclocked to 768 MHz (watch out for an Apple patent on that one). While that may sound like a bad thing, it should be more than enough speed to run most apps, while helping to providing longer talk time than the Nexus One.
We got the news from brighthand that Sprint will be showcasing this HTC Supersonic device at CTIA in Las Vegas next week. We will keep you posted.

Both Samsung Supersonic and Motorola Charm are upcoming T-mobile smart phone, the Samsung Supersonic is probably the Samsung Vibrant that was announced a few days ago, it's not a name change, Supersonic is actually a code name according to Tmonews.
The Samsung Vibrant/Supersonic will run you $199 with a 2 years contract. But $449 without a contract, which I think it's pretty fair considering how powerful the handset is.
Tmonews also revealed the price of the upcoming entry phone by Motorola, the so call Motorola Charm, the phone will only run you $79 with a 2 year contract. It's another one of the feature phones that targets teens.
