One of the two most expected smartphone in UK are now live on O2 UK. We talk about Pixi Plus, the 1GHz powered-by smartphone and Palm Pre Plus, the 500MHz powered-by smartphone, both launched by Californian company "Palm". Palm Pixi Plus can be bought for free on any plan purchased from O2, while the other smartphone can be yours for free if you want to spend at least $58 a month for the plan. Otherwise, with more decent plans, the smartphone can be purchased with around $143.

It seems there may be new things both smartphones come with, as any free operating system brings new cool things all the time. The Palm webOS was always high imaginative and brought many new things on the market. Unfortunately the phone can't be sold outside UK, or at least can't be purchased from O2 outside the Kingdom.

Palm Pixi, the successor of Palm Centro, has a 320 x 400 px display, touch screen display, physical keyboard and a 2MP camera with LED Flash. Palm Pre Plus has a multi-touch screen and a sliding keyboard. It has a bigger screen than the other phone, 320 x 480 pixels and its 600 MHz processor was underclocked to 500 MHz. It offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and packs a 3.2 MP camera.
