Wildfire

T-Mobile is shipping HTC Wildfire since this week, and Vodafone doesn't want to lots ground. The "Red" company started to ship HTC Wildfire after not managing to do it on 15th June, which was the first official date. THe handset can now be bought even for free with monthly plans starting from 20£. The device can be ordered from here, from the official page of Vodafone.

Wildfire is another smartphone developed by HTC Corporation, announced on 17 May 2010 and released this month. It is powered up by a 528 MHz Qualcomm processor, runs Android 2.1 Eclair as operating system and includes a TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen. There is also a 5MP camera with autofocus and LED Flash. The phone has been described as the "Mini HTC Desire". The screen is a 3.2 inch 240x320, and the phone packs 512 MB flash and 384 MB RAM. It supports up to 32GB on microSD and features Radio, social media integration, aGPS with turn-by-turn navigation and full Flash support.

Nokia N8Vodafone UK's website shows the new Nokia N8 as "coming soon", but it seems the smartphone will not appear until August at least. We've seen different shots of the 12MP sharpshooter, and we highly anticipate this phone as being one of the most interesting Symbian-release of this year.

If you want to preorder the phone, Amazon Germany offers you this possibility with around 470 euros. Neither Amazon or Vodafone talked about the official release date, but rumors suggest it might be 24th August. Anyway, we will also have some other answers and even a price range when the phone will get from "coming soon" to "pre-order status"

Samsung Vodafone 2The new Samsung Li-Mo R3-powered i8330 will be part of Vodafone 360 lineup in Europe and will very probably be called Vodafone 2. It has decent features, namely a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor, an 800x480 Super AMOLED screen, 8MP camera with HD video recording, GPS, Wi-Fi and a touch of HSDPA.

Rumors suggest the smartphone should be released somewhere in the beginning of June, so if you are from Europe, then you might get it soon. We haven't heard anything about US pricing or availability.
