Samsung fans on the UK is eagerly waiting for the Galaxy Note 4 launch which is supposed to be on October,10. Sadly, the launch will be delayed a week from the scheduled date. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will officially hit the shelves in the UK on October,17th.

That was for Samsung's own stores though, pre-orders for on-contract devices listed October,17th as the shipping date. A good part of Europe will also get the phablet at that date and now it seems so will the UK. Samsung is citing "amazing interest and demand" as the reason for the delay.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 costs around £575 off-contract but can be head for free with a contract worth at least £38 a month.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is available on only some parts of Asia. The device International launch should happen during this month. However, this doesn't stop the Android developer community from Rooting it... Yes, the Note 4 Root is Now Available from Chainfire.

The root method currently works on the following Galaxy Note 4 variants SM-N910C and SM-N910U with Exynos 5433 and the SM-N9106W launched in China with the Snapdragon 805 chipset. The root package is the classic Cf Auto Root method known for a while.

Another piece of good news is that Chainfire promised that as more firmware versions of the Note 4 get available, they'll get rooted. However, Verizon and AT&T variants of the phablet will be harder to root, as carriers have incorporated various methods that are hard to work around.

If you're still wondering when to expect the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on store shelves in your particular country, this is clearly for you. The Korean company has posted an image of a map with a release timeline attached to it on its Facebook page.

By quickly scanning it, you'll be able to know whether you'll see the Note 4 in your country by November 5th, or if you'll have to wait some more.

It is true however that in some territories those dots are very much obscuring the places they're on top of, so for certain countries the Note 4's release date may still require a guessing game. And it doesn't help that some of the dots have incredibly similar colors.

On the other hand, it appears that Canada will get it on October 17th. For the UK, we might be looking at October 10th as the launch date, while most of Western Europe should have it available a week later, on October 17th.
