It might already be December, but Samsung is still in the process of rolling out Google's last month's updates to many of its smartphones in various regions. Even premiere flagship handsets like the Galaxy Note 8 is only getting it now in India and Europe, but there is no way to tell when it will be time for the mid-rangers that did not yet get the November patch.
According to SamMobile, the update doesn't add any improvements to the Note 8's Live Focus feature which was the highlight of the Note 8's November release from Samsung in US and Taiwan. This is not to say that the handsets in Europe and India won't be getting the improvements, because it would be strange and unexplainable if they don't! Samsung will probably soon add the tweaks in the regions where it has not been added yet via either a separate update or the upcoming December patch. The good news is that the November patch fixes the threatening KRACK Wi-Fi vulnerability, 61 Android bugs and 6 Samsung UI related issues for now.

The Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy Note 5 just got updated to the latest security patch from Google on Verizon. While it would be last month's patch in just a few more hours, it's good news that Verizon at least managed to push it out on the last day of the month. This almost covers the entire 2015 flagship line-up from Samsung except the Galaxy S6 Edge+ but it could also be getting the same patch anytime now.
Aside from fixes for 61 vulnerabilities and bugs in the base Android operating system, the update will also patch the infamous KRACK Wi-Fi susceptibility which had been bugging Samsung devices since early November. Additionally, there are also fixes for six problems in Samsung's own UI which runs on top of the Android OS. If you have already received the update, do let us know if you find something we missed. If it isn't there yet, it will be in a couple of days at most.
