Nokia 8.2

Nokia Mobile is sending official invitations for the upcoming launch of new Nokia devices. The press release suggests that the event is scheduled, as always, a day before the start of Mobile world congress 2020 in Barcelona. On 23rd February, it started at 16:00 Barcelona time, new Nokia devices will be announced.

According to the different leaks, users can expect to see 5 different Nokia devices including 3 smartphones and 2 feature phones. A 5G Nokia 8.2, Nokia 5.2, Nokia 1.3, and a new device called Nokia 400 4G will be released.Nokia 8.2 is a 5G device but has a price tag that may attract even price-conscious users. The Nokia 82. Could hit the market with a price tag for less than 500 euro. Some of the cheapest 5G devices on the market right now are the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, Samsung Galaxy A90 but have a higher price than 500 euro.

Nokia 8.2 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 765 and chipset designed to bring 5G connectivity to the users.
It should be paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage at least to support the 5G network. The design has very minimal bezels and uses a pop-up camera with the 64-megapixel lens for the selfies. The phone will have a physical fingerprint scanner at the back of the device and there will be a headphone jack as well. The leaks suggest that the Nokia 8.2 might have a 3,500mAh battery that may not be enough for heavy-users considering the large display and extra battery drain requirements due to 5G connectivity.

nokia

The Nokia 5.3 is called the future-proof phone that costs almost half of the entry-level premium smartphone. HMD Global's Nokia 5.3 costs just under $199, and it will surprise you with its software, features, and design as a daily phone. The Nokia 5.3 was already gone on sale back in April this year but is yet to get an official launch in India. And now HMG Global has sent out the invites for an online event on August 25. The invite says it will be giving a brief session virtually ahead of the launch. The virtual session will be done on Microsoft Teams and will begin at 10 AM IST. It is believed the Nokia 5.3 will be announced on the same day.

The company has also reported that the 2020 models of the Nokia 125 and Nokia 150 may be announced on the same day since these device has already received certification by the Bureau of Indian Standards since June. The rear panel of the phone is made of plastic and frame a 6.55-inch display screen with 1,600 x 720 pixels. Due to its cover, it is quite manageable but may not fit in the small hands. If you are watching YouTube videos on the mobile phone, you might want to increase the brightness up to full most of the time as the auto-brightness may not work for you.

The phone house a selfie camera at the top of the display with a small bezel on the bottom. The primary camera is of 13-megapixel with a 4/1.8 aperture and is joined by a 5-megapixel ultra-wide, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The front camera is of 8-megapixel. To take pictures at a low-light situation, it offers a night mode, but the shots it takes are hardly better than those you take without it.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor with 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB of RAM options. The Nokia 5.3 offers similar software experience as the Google Pixel phones with Android One and no special user interface. The phone will receive software updates for the next years, including Android 11. The device features a massive 4,000mAh battery that is enough for medium-level usage with a single charge throughout the day.

IFA 2015 was held in September this year and the next major event for world's mobile geeks will be the - CES 2016. It will happen in Las Vegas in January, 2016. Many mobile device manufacturers will be showcasing their devices in this expo.

In general Samsung unveils a lot of consumer electronic products during these kind of events, and it will follow the same route during CES 2016 too. The South Korean electronics behemoth has already started sending out invites for the expo. They will organise a press conference at CES 2016 on January 5, 2016 between 14:00 and 14:45 hours. That gives the tech giant good 45 minutes to showcase the products and it is rumoured that some of the devices will be from the Galaxy series.

Right now there is no information on what Samsung has planned to show during the keynote. Although it is highly unlikely that they will unveil S7 in the event, some are speculating the same. The reason behind this is that Samsung usually reveals the S series during this time period. The company might showcase the Galaxy A9, which is supposed to be powered by the Snapdragon 620 chipset, along with some other audio and video devices.

Touted as the "Next Generation Innovation," an event from Samsung India is going to go down in Delhi tomorrow. As one would expect, Samsung will be launching one or many of its smartphones at the event. However, the question remains; what is this "innovation" that the company is talking about? As we are not going to see the Galaxy Note 8 (sorry if you thought so) or any new handsets that's worth the attention, it's somewhat baffling to see Samsung hyping it so much. How do we know all that? Well it's because Samsung will in all likelihood launch the Galaxy J (2017) series at the event and those smartphones do not exactly go in line with the theme of "next generation innovation!"

If the reports do turn out to be right and Samsung does indeed launch the Galaxy J5 (2017) and the Galaxy J7 (2017) at the event, then the tag is most definitely just a marketing gimmick. Nevertheless, let's hope (against hope) that Samsung surprises us and launches something that's worthy of the term innovation. I would not mind being wrong if that indeed happens to be the case.

Apple iPhone 6

Apple has just sent invitations to the press for an upcoming event on September,9th. The rumors have pinpointed the date already, so it is hardly a surprise.

Apple is expected to unveil the worst-kept under wraps iPhone the 4.7" iPhone 6. If we are to trust some previous rumors, the iWatch smartwatch will be joining the next generation iPhone as well.

With the recent LG G Watch R announcement and the upcoming Moto 360 smartwatch, Apple should be in a hurry to capture some of the wearable momentum. It has already snagged a former Tag Heuer's VP of sales, another proof the iWatch announcement is happening sooner than later.

Apple is Now livestreaming its iPhone 6 and iWatch event, and we expect one of the best lineups the company has had in years. Note that the iPhone 6 and iWatch livestream will require Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X v10.6.8 or later, or Safari on iOS 6.0 or later. You would also be able to stream via Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later. Apple iPhone 6 and iWatch event starts on September 9th.

The title of the event is "Spring forward," a reference to Daylight Savings Time which begins the day before.

While no launch date for the smartwatch has been announced, Apple CEO Tim Cook has said that the device won't launch before April. Additionally, Apple Store employees are said to be in training for the release of the timepiece.

If you are even remotely interested about Apple and its products, then you probably already know that the company is going to reveal the next iPhones on September 12. However, that's not going to be all that the Cupertino giant will reveal, as you will see next.

The New iPhones

There will be three iPhones this year and none of them will have a Home button or a fingerprint scanner, just like the current gen iPhone X doesn't. They will be named iPhone X (same 5.8" OLED with updated internals), iPhone Xs (6.1" LCD with single camera) and iPhone Xs Max (6.5" with dual cameras).

The Next iPad Pro

The next iPad Pro will be launched in the same 12.9" model, but a newer 11-inch model might just replace the 10.5-inch form factor this year. Aside from updated internals, it is expected that the new iPad Pro will not have the Home button either, giving us the first bezel-less tablet!

Affordable MacBook

A new MacBook Air with a cheaper price tag might be headed towards us this year, but we will have to see where Apple decides to cut corners to keep the price down.

Mac Mini Pro?

An affordable Mac without a display and a small form factor is what the Mac Mini has been so far, but this year, Apple is rumored to add more juice to the mini computers for professional users.

New Apple Watch

The Apple Watch Series 4 will definitely be coming with the latest iPhones and there will probably be two variants this year. Both the variants will sport bigger displays and higher resolution for better visibility thankfully. They will also be shipped with the new WatchOS 5.

Those are the main attractions at the show of course, but rumor also has it that the previously announced AirPower wireless charging pad with the capability of charging three Apple devices (Apple Watch, iPhone ad AirPods) simultaneously will also be unveiled at the show, along with a charging case for the AirPods. We will find out how much of these rumors are true in just three days' time.

apple event

No matter, if you are an Apple user or Android fan, the Apple launch event is exciting for anyone interested in the latest technology. There were some doubts about the Apple 2020 event this year due to the coronavirus situation, but as the world is learning to live with the virus, we have the official dates for the event. An Apple event is going to be held this month on 15. To keep everyone safe and hassle-free, the event will be held completely online. We are expecting that company would launch the iPhone 12 series, or a few other devices, such as the new iPad and Apple watch.

Here is how you can watch it virtually. Apple event will take place online on Tuesday 15 September 2020 sharp at 10 AM or follow the different regional timings:

West Coast US: 10 am PDT
East Coast US: 1 pm EDT
UK: 6 pm BST
Central Europe: 7 pm CEST
China (Beijing): 1 am CST (16 September)
Japan: 2am JST (16 September)
Australia (Sydney): 3 am AEST (16 September)

Last year, Apple live-streamed its event on its official website and YouTube channel. This time, it will be the same. You can also watch it on your second-generation Apple TV, by going through the Apple Events app from the App Store for the Apple TV, or stream from your iOS device via AirPlay. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg tweeted that he doesn't think that Apple is going to launch Apple 12 family in this event. According to him, this event is to announce the iPad and Apple watch. The official invite is tagged with the phrase "Time Flies", which makes more sense if its watch related. As Apple hasn't mentioned any detail on the devices its planning to release on the Event, we have to wait and see.

iphone

Apple just officially announced the date for its annual developers conference that is going to be held on June 7 and just like last year, it's going to be a virtual event due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. WWDC is an event, where Apple typically unveils its upcoming devices including iPhone, iPad, Apple watch, Apple TV, and other Mac software related updates. The event will continue from June 7 to 11 and will be free for developers to attend.

The event is mainly focused around iOS developers who specifically create games or apps for Apple's products. However, it's also used to give the audience a little sneak peak at the new features coming to their devices. Typically, the software announced in WWDC is in beta version before final release in the fall.

Last year, Apple said, it was transitioning from Intel processor to its own in-house build chips. It announced the first computers to use its MI processor in Nov, 2020. But during WWDC 2020, it show-ff an example of how powerful its new processing chips will be. It also announced iOS version 14 for iPhones, iPad, and watch. In 2019, Apple took advantage of the event to unveil the Macbook Pro, which is by-far the most powerful computer so far, targeted for creative professionals.

A few reports suggest that Apple might also announce new hardware products somewhere before WWDC 2021. As we are expecting new series of iPad in next month. But the company is also reported to refresh its iMacs and other computer devices with new processors. So, it would be safe to assume that if Apple doesn't unveil these products in April, we might be witnessing these in June.

Xperia Z3

Sony seems to be following Samsung on revealing a New Flag-ship phone and in the day too. Samsung already announced that it be releasing the Galaxy Note 4 on Sept,3 IFA event. Today, Sony is also announcing a Exclusive Unveiling Event for a new flagship device, which is the Xperia Z3 of course, Sony picked the same date as Samsung which is September,3rd.

Sony's invitation simply says "You are invited to the IFA 2014 Sony press conference and exclusive booth unveiling", and, how thoughtful of Sony, the event is set to start at 4:15pm local time. The invitation further hints at the products to be announced at the event with a collage of product pictures.
