OnePlus' intention was clear from the very fast Nord phone. They wanted to introduce a new line of more affordable range of products. As it turns out, the next series of nord phones will be available in the market within a few weeks. A prominent leaker on Twitter claims that the N10 and N100 could both be launched before the end of october. There isn't much information on N100 but there are a few leaks surface often related to Nord N10, which seems to be a slightly less powerful version of Nord to be sold in the US.

The N10 will feature a Snapdragon 690 processing chip with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone will also feature a 64-megapixel primary camera and a 6.49-inch full HD+ display screen. If rumors are correct, it will be priced somewhere around $400. As for the N100, the price might go slightly up. The reports suggest that the OnePlus Nord N10 will feature a 90Hz display refresh rate. The smartphone is also tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 690 SoC, which is the first processor from Qualcomm's 600 series to feature 5G connectivity.

According to the report, the OnePlus Nord N10 and N100 are going to be launched in the United States and in some selected countries because the Snapdragon 765G powered OnePlus Nord didn't make its way to the US market at the time of launch. Right now we don't have much information about the colors or design of the upcoming OnePlus. However, we would like to keep you informed in the near future as we are expecting the release of the phone by the end of this month.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix is a "concept" phone that you will actually be able to buy from November 4, provided you live in China. The ¥3,499/¥3,999 ($515/590 approximately) price tags seem almost underpriced, considering the kind of hardware and innovation it brings with it. The 6.4-inch Full HD display in front of the device nearly has no bezel with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.3%, something that was only a concept till now. The only bezel it actually has is at the bottom of the display, which houses an 8-mp selfie cam.

However, it would be unjust to judge the Mi Mix based solely on the beautiful all screen display, without taking into consideration the fact that it has removed most traditional sensors, as well as the microphone for phone calls! Yes, the Mi Mix senses proximity via ultrasound and a piezoelectric speaker does the work of the microphone via utilizing the metal frame; which in itself sounds like some crazy piece of science fiction tech to us! The futuristic design was apparently achieved by the engineers at Xiaomi by working with the French designer Philippe Starck.

The side buttons and the back of the Mix are ceramic and the display is curved near the corners to add to that full-screen look which it sports so flawlessly. Just in case the innovations seemed insufficient, note that the Mi Mix is also supported by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, 4GB/6GB RAM, 128GB/256GB internal storage, a 4,400mAh battery, a 16-mp rear camera, an 8-mp front camera and even a 3.5mm jack. To be honest, we are blown away by the Mi Mix and what it promises to bring to the table.

ios14

Are you running into the iOS 14 bugs and glitches after the latest OS update? If yes, keep reading this article to help you fix the issues and experience the latest upgrade. Recent OS updates caused a few issues related to broken WiFi, draining battery life, and spontaneously reset settings. To fix these, Apple rolled out the iOS 14.0.1 patch that pretty much solves these problems. This situation isn't new for people who signed up for the beta version, and while some issues have been resolved, some bigs persist. These issues are not probably a serious one but annoying ones. So, let's try to resolve these annoying issues. To update the latest version, head to settings > general > software update > download and install, and click install now when the option becomes available on the screen.

If you are not on the iOS 14 yet, make sure that you have an iPhone 6s or newer before trying to download the OS. You will also need enough space on your phone to download it. If you have previously installed the beta version, you need to delete that version in Settings > general > profiles.

If you find it difficult to add or edit widgets, this is certainly an iOS 14 problem. New apps you download may not allow you to add widgets as well. To solve this, open up the app and browse it a little bit, then close it, you may find that it appears within the widget list after hitting the plus icon now.

If you have to reconnect to WiFi manually every time you put your iPhone into sleep mode, then you need to download the new system update iOS 14.0.1 that aims to fix WiFi network connectivity issues. Likewise, you need this update if the Top stories section appears blank for you in the Apple News widget, or the iPhone camera app viewfinder has turned completely dark for you. The update patch that was rolled just after one week solves the issues mentioned above.

Some users are experienced that after installing iOS 14, their batteries are draining fast. What happens that the battery drain might be temporary until your iPhone gets used to the new update. There are other things you can do if your battery continues to drain at an alarming speed. Open your settings app and go to Settings > battery > battery health to check if your battery is doing okay. There are many ways you can extend your battery life, like turning off the auto-brightness on your screen and manually keeping it at a low setting. You can also turn off apps refreshing the background by going to settings > general > background app refresh.

poco x2

The POCO X2 was released last year, but it has consistent growing demand even today. When compared against the specs and price of the recently launched similar phones, it wasn't possible to find any shortcomings in the device. The one thing that really stood out was its rear camera which allows users to shoot some really decent photos at a maximum resolution of 64 megapixels.

However, recently multiple users have not been able to do that. The app tends to freeze pretty often or displays a black screen altogether. Some users also reported the ‘can't connect to camera' error message that appears when opening up the camera app. Trying to access the macro or the ultra-wide camera feature was also inaccessible. These issues were later on acknowledged and marked as software-related by the phone manufacturers.

In a press release statement shared on Twitter, the company said that almost 0.2% people have reported the camera issues. Nevertheless, they apologize to those affected. They also shared a picture of a step-by-step solution to this problem. So, here is how you can work around.

Clean Camera app data - to do this, Open Settings > Search Manage apps > Search Camera > Clear Data > Clear all data
Reboot the phone
Check if the camera is working

If the solution doesn't work for you, the company wants you to report it on the services and feedback app, and upload the device logs under the camera section. The services and feedback app is amongst the pre-installed apps and located in the app drawer. The user can also visit the nearest service center with the feedback generated ID to get the issue fixed by the engineers and support at the center.

mate 30 Pro

Huawei has launched its next flagship smartphone - Mate 30 Pro in Berlin. The only problem is that the phone can't be sold in Germany or anywhere in Europe due to the security ban by the Trump administration. The Mate 30 Pro has a cutting-edge curved display, a more powerful processor, and more cameras than iPhone 11 but it is practically useless without Google's Android software. That means you can't have YouTube, Google maps, Google app store, or any app available on it.

Huawei said that it will provide some workaround to enable users to download some of the apps like Facebook, Instagram, and Netflix. But Huawei knows that people won't buy it without these apps that's why it is not even being launched in western European countries. This could hinder some serious damage on the Huawei sales figure this year. Huawei is the second large smartphone manufacturer of Android smartphone after Samsung. The company was planning to be the number one by 2020 before it got hit by a security ban by Trump.

The Trump admin is also trying to get other countries to block the Huawei's 5G mobile network equipment. The previously released phones are still getting the software update for some time to enable users to have the time to switch to another phone manufacturer. In China, this band didn't affect much because the Chinese people don't use these apps and have alternative apps for years. The company has started to work its smartphone software called HarmonyOS but it may take years to match the Android's functionality and popularity.

While Mate 30 has the cutting-edge hardware to beat the latest iPhone, the company is facing a problem to get the attention of consumers due to the unpredictable situation after the ban. "Huawei has Apple soundly beaten when it comes to form-factor design but even these beautiful looking devices are going to struggle to see any volume without the Google ecosystem," Richard Windsor, a mobile analyst, said in a note this week.

Samsung's upcoming Galaxy X is the supposed foldable smartphone that never arrived even after years of speculations and predictions. However, the era of foldable smartphones is finally here, thanks to ZTE's brand new experimental smartphone, the Axon M.

The Axon M sports two 5.2-inch displays of identical properties, which can be folded in the middle to make for a more portable package. The phone still feels quite bulky due to the thickness, but it's the world's first phone which makes carrying around a potentially 10.4-inch display in your pocket, a feasible option.

Apart from the dual 1080p 5.2-inch LCD FHQ displays, it also sports a 2.15 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, 4GB of RAM, a single 20-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and dual image stabilization and 64GB of internal storage with micro-SD card slot. In the US, the ZTE Axon M will be available exclusively on AT&T for roughly $699. Check out the video by The Verge to see the ZTE Axon M in action.

Nokia Here

Nokia HERE Maps is heading to Android, but can it compete with Google Maps ? Well, HERE marketing team showed us that its much better than Google Maps, Describing Google Maps offline mode is only "a glorified screenshot".

Google is an Internet company so offline mode was never much of a priority, while Nokia has been offering navigation software on its phones since less than 10 people had mobile Internet.

The video shows the Save for offline use feature of Google Maps and points out you can't plan new routes, hence the "screenshot" jab. Google Maps can at least reroute you while offline, which the video conveniently overlooks.

Good News for Android users, as Nokia HERE app is now Available for FREE on Google Play. What is HERE ?. Well, it's the famed mapping service that is still under Nokia's wing, which provides its users with completely offline navigation, has a wide array of available maps, up-to-date info for public transportation, as well as turn-by-turn voice guidance all of this free of charge.

Here

Up until now, the app was only available for Samsung devices on one of Samsung's online app repositories. Apart from arriving on Google Play, HERE Beta also adds navigation support for plenty of new countries (Algeria, Angola, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Cyprus, Iraq, Libya, Mauritania, Mauritius, Nepal, Paraguay, Saint Helena, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Zambia, Zimbabwe), though these countries have not been fully-mapped just yet.

nokia

Nokia recently tweeted about the launch of new budget-friendly smartphones for the Indian market. The phones will be unveiled in an event which will take place on August 25. According to some leaks, the company will take the opportunity to launch a feature phone in the event as well. Among the products that will be unveiled, there will be a 4G feature phone as well. This week we got some detail on the specs and renders of Nokia's upcoming 4G feature phone.

One of these products is a new variant of the Nokia 215 that will probably be called as Nokia 215 (2020) or Nokia 215 4G. As it is clear from the name, the phone fells into the budget category and might be the most affordable phone manufactured this year by Nokia. But, to disappoint many, this phone doesn't have any camera. Perhaps, Nokia thinks of people who can't afford an expensive mobile phone with fancy features. The next device is the Nokia 225 that comes with 4G LTE and can run apps like YouTube and Facebook.

According to the reports, the Nokia 225 has already got clearance from FCC. The pictures or renders uploaded on the internet have a date and time on the display of the device that shows August 3, 2020. Probably, the phone was delayed due to the coronavirus situation in the country and around the world. The source wasn't' certain about the name of the third 4G feature phone.

The phone carries the code name Nokia Leo Basic. The Nokia Leo is also expected to feature support for Whatsapp, Facebook, as from being a 4G phone. Further, you will get a dedicated physical button on the side of the phone which is likely to be used as Google Assistant. The feature phones are likely powered by KaiOS. We don't have any detail on the pricing yet, but we can safely assume that these phones will likely be more affordable than any other phone currently in the market with all these features.

Sprint was the first carrier in the US to release Android Marshmallow updates for the Galaxy S6 and they did it back in March. Verizon was the next soon afterwards and now we are all waiting for AT&T to follow suit. Once you consider the fact that even T-Mobile has recently updated their Galaxy S6 to Marshmallow, it starts to seem a little lazy on the part of AT&T to still lag behind. Android N is due for an unveiling event later in May and to see major smartphones still running on Android Lollipop just does not feel right.

However, the good news for AT&T customers is that the Android marshmallow update from the carrier is almost on the verge of being released. This news was confirmed after the Galaxy S6 support page was updated with the info. We now know that the soon to be released package will change the version number to G920AUCU3CPC2 and the Android version to 6.0.1 on the S6.

The package will contain latest security patches updated to the last release and various other improvements that we have come to expect from Android M. Google Now on Tap, Doze Mode, improved notifications, customizable app permissions, improved UI and a host of other new features and improvements will surely be a part of this update, when it is released.

Galaxy-fold-1

The Galaxy S10 series of smartphones might be the talk of the town at the moment, but in many of our opinions, Samsung made a much more significant announcement earlier today by announcing the much awaited and rumored foldable Galaxy smartphone, aka the Galaxy Fold. It has been in rumors for 5 years straight and now that it is finally, almost here, it is STILL a prototype! Nonetheless, check out the key facts about the Galaxy Fold below, which will supposedly release in April.

Galaxy-fold-2

·        The Cover Display is 4.6-inch with a resolution of 840 x 1960, at 21:9 aspect ratio

·        The Fold unravels to a 7.3-inch Infinity Flex display with a resolution of 1536 x 2152 at 4.2:3 aspect ratio

·        The multi-geared hinge will last hundreds of thousands of uses

·        There is a corner notch to house the two selfie cams on the main screen

·        The rear camera setup is a tri-camera module

Galaxy-fold-3

galaxy-fold-4

While it seemed like an uniquely impressive device during the presentation, for what it tends to achieve, there is no denying the fact that the Galaxy Fold is a clunky device that costs almost $2000! Will you be buying one if it comes out in April? Or will you wait till 2020? By which time, Samsung is almost guaranteed to slim down the device with better design and will probably price it a lot cheaper too.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 series is one of the smartphone series of 2020. The series also includes one of the most expensive devices ever launched but even this phone isn't perfect. Luckily, there are always some workarounds, hacks, and software patches to help improve these glitches. Here is a list of a few problems you can face while using your Samsung Galaxy S20.

If you experience delayed notification, you have to check that your phone isn't on the battery optimization. Samsung intentionally delayed notification and stop these to run in the background to save battery life. But if the notifications are important to you, you have to remove your phone from the battery optimization list. Go to Apps > configuration apps > battery optimization > all apps

A few users submit a complaint related to their ever-changing refresh rate. Technically, this ins't phone's fault. Not all apps support that high refresh rate. So, if you have 120Hz refresh rate set as a default option, you may experience a drop to 60Hz if the app you are not using isn't compatible with such a high refresh rate or your device temperature goes above 42 celsius degree. This could be a side effect of prolonged gaming sessions or other processor-intensive activities.

If you are having trouble with having a smart unlock setup which doesn't seem to work most of the time, it might be your corrupt GPS connection. The problem occurs when you are using a smart lock based on the location like a home or office. This has been fixed by Samsung software update and should be working as intended. But if you are still having some issues, go to settings > advanced features and tap on Bixby routines. Tap on the name of the Bixby routine. Once the page opens, tap on Details. You will find "smart unlcok" on the list of existing presets in the "my routine" section.

Having a smartphone that randomly reboot can be really annoying. If this is something you are face, boot the phone into Safe mode and check if the issue persists. If it doesn't, an app that you might have recently installed is causing this. Uninstall the installed app and see if it works for you. If it doesn't go to Settings > device care >... > advanced and tap on the Disable auto restart option. If the issue still persists, you need to call the customer support or the shop owner from where you bought the phone.

Allo was announced earlier in 2016 at the Google I/O and the new messaging app is finally becoming available to Android and iOS devices around the world. If you are not aware about what makes Allo special in a world that's filled with messaging apps from different developers, let us enlighten you. Allo will work in perfect coordination with the new Google Assistant. In other words, Google Assistant is embedded as a part of the new messenger, which will allow users to reply to conversations based on the suggestions by the Google Assistant and perform in-app searches through both your personal data on the phone and also the internet.

Google Assistant is said to take digital assistance to another level through direct interactions with the evolving AI incorporated into the program. It will take the experience you had from Google Now and raise it up by quite a few notches. Now that Allo is finally here, we will learn about new ways to utilize the digital assistant. Keep in mind though, Allo is strictly limited to mobile devices only for now and won't be available on desktops for a while. Download it and give it a try now, it's free!

Google New Logo 2016

After changing Android's Design and Logo, Google is now changing its look and logo. Google's New Logo is flat with sharper angles and curves, you can already see the new "G" logo all over the company's official apps in the play store.

The new Google logo [picture below] is still a wordmark, but it's now using a sans-serif typeface, making it look a lot more modern and playful. The colors are also softer than they used to be. The logo bears a bit more resemblance to the logo of Google's new parent company, Alphabet, as well.

Google

Alphabet's wordmark has a similarly unadorned look, and this update makes the two companies' design language fall more inline.

VIA

It is very hard to determine which one is the best Android smartphone of them all, but if that contest was purely based on the smoothest and purest Android experience possible, the title would have to go the Google Pixel and Pixel XL. However, that was back in 2016 and we are now almost on the verge of seeing new iterations of the two smartphones from Google in the form of the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. So without further ado, let us introduce you to the two smartphones with the specs that we know about so far. Do keep in mind that these are based on rumors and leaks, so minor changes might be present in the final version.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 835/836 SoC

Launch date for both devices is said to be October 5 by Evan Blass on Twitter but we will of course have to wait to find out for sure. The Pixels sported amazing cameras last year, so it would be interesting to see if they can do one better this year.

android 11

After spending a few months on testing and code review, Google is rolling out Android to the smartphones. This is an over-the-air software update for Google Pixels devices, as well as smartphones from OnePlus, Xiaomi, OPPO, and Realme. Hopefully, other smartphone manufacturers will be joining the regime soon enough. As expected, Android11 has brought a plenty of new features including message bubbles, redesigned notifications, a new power menu, a new media player widget, screen recording, and much more.

The most exciting feature is the bubble chart just like the one Facebook uses, but they are integrated into Android 11 and can be used for any app by floating on top of whatever you are using. You can also hold the physical button used to power the phone to view your Google Pay cards, and that playback controls have been moved from the notification tray to the Settings panel now.

With Android 11, you need any additional App to record the screen. Google has also implemented some changes for users who take their privacy a little more serious. LIke you can opt-in for one-time access to your mic, camera, or location by the app, so that each time you open the app, it will ask for your permission again.

As per the reports from various sources, following phones are getting the Android 11 OS.
The following Pixel smartphones can update to Android 11 right away.
Pixel 2
Pixel 2 XL
Pixel 3
Pixel 3 XL
Pixel 3a
Pixel 3a XL
Pixel 4
Pixel 4 XL
Pixel 4a

If you own a Nokia phone with Android 9 Pie, you should be getting the update as well. This include

Nokia 9 PureView
Nokia 8.3
Nokia 8.1
Nokia 7.2
Nokia 6.2
Nokia 5.3
Nokia 4.2
Nokia 3.2
Nokia 3.1 Plus
Nokia 2.3
Nokia 2.2
Nokia 1.3
Nokia 1 Plus

OnePlus has also rolled out the update for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. Other devices might expect to get the update soon. Oppo is releasing the Android 11 with ColorOS on 14 September, 2030 for Oppo Find X2, X2 Pro, Reno 3, and Reno 3 Pro. Samsung hasn't joined the list yet but as per reports, Samsung Galaxy S20 series would be the first one to get the update.

To get the update, first you need to check if the update is available to you, as a few manufacturers are still working on their version of Android 11 OS and user interface.

Open your phone's settings App.
Go to System > Advanced > System update.
See your Android version and security patch level. Once you are sure of the update availability, tap the update action.

The update will start itself. And will ask for restart, once download is complete. After you restart the device, it may take a few minutes to update your operating system.

android 12

Google says the focus this year is to make Android "more intuitive, better performing, and more secure." This is this week's biggest news. Our first official look at Android 12! The debut developer preview of the 2021 iteration of the world's biggest operating system is now available for developers. The software is in preview mode which means it is currently unstable and not suitable for regular users.

The Android 12 developer preview will only be available on Google Pixel devices so far starting from the Pixel 3 series forward. That means the Pixel 3/3 XL, Pixel 3a/3a XL, Pixel 4/4 XL, Pixel 4a/4a 5G, and Pixel 5 are included in the list of eligible smartphones. Earlier Pixel phones and phones from other OEMs are not compatible and won't be able to install or work with the latest upgrade, but you can always use the Android Emulator within Android Studio if you want to see the latest OS.

Since we are in the early stages of the development of Android 12, this first developer preview won't feature many new customer-oriented features. Instead, most of the features available would be available for those who are interested in Android-related software development. As always, Android and mobile phone application developers will find consumer features within this code, so be ready to have more news and leaks in the upcoming weeks.

Google has already cleared what functionalities it wants to achieve with the Android 12 upgrade. It says that this version of Android will be "more intuitive, better performing, and more secure" than other versions. Last year, Google's big focus was on communication apps including notifications app, messaging apps, etc. We might see different priorities set by the company for the Android 12 developer preview

A lot of the confirmed features within Android 12 are more of technical nature. Google is aiming to work on better photography to compete with Apple and Samsung. It says Android 12 will allow for faster and higher quality image transcoding for better-looking photos with significantly smaller file sizes. Notifications will also be faster with more tools for developers to customize them. It will also be easier for devs to discover compatibility issues so they can get their apps up and running faster.

Another feature will allow a phone's vibration motor to sync with app audio, creating more 3D gaming and visual experiences. Likewise, gesture navigation will be easier and more consistent even if your phone display screen is fully covered with media or some other app. We are going to reveal a lot more cool features as we get more news and updates from the developer's community. So, stay tuned.

Nokia Here maps

The HERE Maps beta for Android, which launched a couple of weeks ago has just received its first update. The new release brings support for the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop API 21, while also coming with some bug fixes and performance tweaks.

The update ensures that the downloaded voice files are kept safe and sound. The fix means that you will have to redownload any non-English voices but they won't accidentally disappear anymore if you're using a "cache cleaner" app on your smartphone.

here maps lollipop

Unfortunately since HERE Maps is only available through the company's website (No Google Play Love), you will have to side-load the new APK to enjoy the update. Download it from Here.

oppo find x2

Oppo just officially announced the date for the launch of Oppo Find X2. The phone will be launching at Mobile world congress 2020, a few days before the event will start officially. We also learned the Find X2 is going to feature a new Sony-developed camera sensor, which also houses Sony's latest 2x2 on-chip lens solution, enabling high-speed autofocus, high-resolution, high-sensitivity, and high dynamic range. Its predecessor was a great success in terms of sales figures and one of the most beautiful phones you can find in the market. But strangely, the company was silent about launching the Find X2.

Oppo happened to release the Reno series along with the Find X2 that kind of overshadowed the success of Find X. Everyone in the tech industry was thinking that the Oppo Reno series would take over the other lines. We have seen a few iterations of that device since the original phone was launched back in April of last year, and the Find series seemed to get lost somewhere in the background. But according to the Android Authority, a new Find phone is coming and it's already an interesting phone to invest in.

The device is arriving in the first quarter of this year. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, and new flagship Sony sensor. The main focus of the device is its screen quality. At the snapdragon tech summit last week, an oppo representative confirmed that a new snapdragon 865-powered device is coming and now we know that device is Oppo Find X2. This will enable the phone to get access to some of the brand new features like two-gigapixel processing, 25 percent faster performance, and much more.

The new sensors being uses used in the device can use every pixel as a phase detection pixel, meaning it can detect phase differences in both the X and Y directions. Also, it should be much easier for the focus to work on the edge of the frame, as older sensors were only able to use the center portion to calculate focus. The last year's model was one of the phone devices to hide the selfie-camera through a pop-up design, which was appreciated among the consumers.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix is currently the most talked about smartphone in the world, thanks to the brilliant design it brings to the plate with a near bezel-less display which boasts of a screen-to-body ratio of 91.3%. Nevertheless, we will surely see a lot more of the same design from other manufacturers next year, so here's a list of the best bezel-less smartphones that are coming in the near future.

Samsung Galaxy S8

There were rumors, but after a hint by Samsung senior engineer Park Won-sang, it's almost a certainty that at least one version of the S8 is going to feature an edge-to-edge Super AMOLED display with more than 90% screen-to-body ratio.

Apple iPhone 8

If we take a report by Barclays Research seriously, then Apple is about to mark the 10th anniversary of the iPhone with a curved edge-to-edge OLED display.

Huawei "Quad-Edge screen"

We don't know the name of the phone yet, but what we do know is that a Huawei phone is coming with an all-screen display that's curved on the four corners and it's being termed as the "Quad-Edge screen."

Meizu Pro 7

If the rumors surrounding the Meizu Pro 7 turn out to be true, then it's going to sport a 2160 x 1080 AMOLED display, with a screen-to-body ratio of more than 96%!

What do you think about the borderless design? Are they the future of smartphone displays, or just a temporary fad?

lexus hoverboard

We reported before about the Lexus Hoverboard and showed couple of teasers that were published on YouTube showing this cool thing Hovering on air.

Is it Real ? YES... Lexus has officially unveiled its Hoverboard in Spain. It's sadly not as cool as we expected. firstly, It can't be used anywhere you want... it needs a special "Track" in the ground like the train.

In the video ads, Lexus build a special Park for it, The park is made out of wood that has been painted to look like cement, with an embedded magnetic track that had clearly been covered with some sort of plaster in an effort to conceal it. Strike one: the Lexus board can't be used anywhere you want. Marty McFly would be disappointed.

hoverboard 2015

One more let-down, Lexus hoverboard works with liquid nitrogen-cooled superconductors and magnets, which means it needs to be cooled down to around -180 degrees Celsius using liquid nitrogen in order to achieve levitation. so you gonna need a fresh supply of liquid nitrogen with you all the time. You can watch the full story in the video below.

photographer-1

Has it not been long you became a lover of photography? Do you spend more and more time with the camera? I realize that the beginnings are always difficult. But whoever tries nothing has nothing! The important thing is to try and want to do it!

This is the reason I have put together these ten errors most often committed by the beginning photographers. You should also read this article to avoid doing it too!

#1: A professional camera is not everything

Do not believe that a professional camera will make you an experienced photographer! There is nothing more wrong than thinking that a super expensive camera will allow you to become a pro and make great photos of good quality. Because a good photographer can make a beautiful photo with any smartphone. We advise you first check all available options in your device or in the device you want to buy, and to think how you can use them. A quick note: even the best screen in the camera will not make the beauty and sense of reality of your photo! So, look at the photos still on the screen of a pc. It must also be well calibrated!

#2: Photography is a freedom of expression. Do not copy others!

It's always good to watch and be inspired by other people's photos. But it is not at all allowed or professional to copy the ideas of others. It is very important to know how to analyze the photos, their colors and their framing, to know how to draw the conclusions and to use it by making his own photos!
You can also participate in photography training organized by famous photographers, read books and magazines on photography and ask the professionals for advice but above all, especially what it takes is to listen to oneself and not to be afraid to experiment and test, to seek one's way.

#3: Do not use flash

The flash is often well liked and used by amateur photographers as well. But it is rarely or never used by professionals. The flash iterates in cameras making the photos too bright and too flat. So, if you are really interested in photography, leave out the flash and get different light effects instead use a diaphragm or other accessories that help capture the right light. If you do not want to give up the diaphragm reduce its power so that the light captured may seem more natural.

#4: Avoid excessive blurring of backgrounds

Many people like to use the "bokeh effect." It's a nice effect but does not overdo it! It is good to use it from time to time, but it is especially advisable to focus on the entire framing and on the background, which is also very important in a photo. Never underestimate the backgrounds of the photos because their choice is essential.

#5: Do not take photos without thinking - focus

When you take pictures, you must always have a clear idea of what you want to capture and how. Remember the principle of the third-party rule on the division of the image or division of gold.  It's just the right time to use the principle.

#6: Do not take photos against the sun or in direct sunlight

Good weather and the shining sun can make us believe that it is the perfect time to take pictures. Nothing more deceptive, except you are looking to create some lens flare in your photos! Of course, you have to experiment and try it all but we must not forget that with that time, there are more shady areas so the nose and even the hair will project shade. It is advisable to use a shaded place which gives a much more pleasant and delicate light.
And if you're talking about shadows - never take pictures so that your shadow appears in the frame with the camera in your hand. It's a mistake as simple as putting your finger in front of the lens.

#7: Never use AUTO mode!

It is true that the AUTO mode was created especially for beginners of photography. But if you want to progress and develop your abilities as a photographer do not use it! Check all the options available in your device and try to use them. Try also to take pictures in RAW format. The photos in this format are subsequently much easier to process and edit. It is easier to make the necessary changes.

#8: Photo processing program? That's not all!

And if we talk about photo editing, they are used to highlight and expose the beauty of your photos and not to create photos! Photo processing programs have been created to make photographers' lives easier. But it is better to take beautiful pictures from the start so with a good framing and a good light to do editing just if it's really necessary. Use multiple gradations of lights, contrast and image saturation to become an expert. If you can lay your hands on one of the best mirrorless camera we have in the market today, then you are good to go with shooting great photos.

#9: Do not give up the colors to give more impotence to black and white photos

Black and white photos are easier to take. But if you want to progress in your photography adventure, it is to be used with moderation. Take the photos in color! And do not be afraid! Especially if the colors are essential for example the photos of Autumn, autumn leaves etc. or the rainbow.

#10: Do not be angry if you are given constructive advice

Nobody is born expert! Neither does anyone become an expert right away as soon as they start in their field. The beginnings can be difficult and we learn all our lives. Accept any criticism that comes from an expert or a professional photographer. They can teach you a lot. Thanks to this kind of criticism you can progress. But do not compare yourself to others, especially not professionals, and especially not when you start. This can only cause useless frustrations, and you do not want to be discouraged from the beginning.

Do not wait any longer! Take your camera and take as many photos as you want! It is not necessary to go to distant and exotic countries to be able to take beautiful pictures or to find beautiful landscapes. You can find inspirations around you in everyday life and in the simplest objects. Just keep your eyes wide open and have your device handy.

The Apple September Event is finally over and now we know everything (almost) that there is to know about the upcoming gadgets and smartphones from Apple. Since the time for rumors is over, let us delve right into what was unveiled by the company earlier today and list the details revealed by the company regarding the iPhone 7.

The iPhone 7

Chipset: It will use the Apple A10 chip which offers a performance boost of 40% over last year's A9 chip, at a clock speed of 2.44GHz (hopefully).

Display: 4.7-inch 750 × 1334 pixels HD Retina Display with enhanced 3D Touch, which was declared to be 25% brighter than the iPhone 6s' screen.

Camera: 12-megapixel primary camera with OIS. It offers better exposure, lower aperture and a sensor that's 60% faster than that of the iPhone 6s. The front camera has an enhanced 7-megapixel sensor with Auto Image Stabilisation.

Battery: Apple claimed that the iPhone would last a user 12-hours while browsing on LTE networks. No other specific details were revealed.

Storage, release date and price: You can pre-order the 32GB, 128GB and 256GB variants of the iPhone 7 for USD 649, USD 749 and USD 849 respectively, starting from September 9. It will go on worldwide sale officially from September 16.

Color Options: Jet Black (128GB and 256GB only), Matte Black, Silver, Rose Gold and Gold.

Other improvements

The iPhone 7 comes with two stereo speakers and the new speaker has been placed on top of the phone. It is also the first iPhone to sport IP67 certification for water-resistance. Expectedly, Apple has done away with the 3.5mm jack, but has included an adapter to connect your old headphones to it via the lightning port, which will directly accept the bundled lightning EarPods. As we reported earlier, the iPhone 7 does not have a physical Home button; instead, there's a solid state Home button now, which is pressure sensitive and provides varying haptic feedbacks depending on the use.

The Apple September Event has revealed almost everything to us earlier today, so let us look at the details of the biggest announcement of the evening, the iPhone 7 Plus.

iPhone 7 Plus

Chipset: The same Apple A10 chip that powers its smaller brother will also power the iPhone 7 Plus and hopefully with a clock speed of 2.4GHz.

Display: 5.5-inch 1080p Retina Display with 401ppi that's about 25% brighter than the iPhone 6s Plus.

Camera: 12-megapixel dual camera setup at the back with 2X optical zoom, OIS, depth-of-field (upcoming), faster sensor and better aperture.

Battery: The capacity wasn't specifically mentioned, but one can expect it to last even longer than the 12-hour browsing time on LTE bands, claimed by Apple for the regular iPhone 7 as it has a bigger battery.

Storage, release date and price: Pre-orders for the both the iPhones will begin on September 9 and they will go on sale from September 16 internationally. Both devices will be available in 32GB, 128GB and 256GB variants. The 32GB iPhone 7 Plus will set you back by USD 769, the 128GB variant will cost you USD 869 and the mega 256GB version will be available for a whopping USD 969.

Color options: Both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be available for purchase in Jet Black (128GB and 256GB only), Matte Black, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold colors.

Other improvements

The 3.5mm headphone jack is gone in the two devices, although a Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter is included in the package, along with the brand new Lightning EarPods. 3D Touch or pressure sensitive display technology has been taken a step further by Apple as the phones do not have a physical Home button anymore. The solid state Home button replacing it will provide "taptic feedback," which is a combination of pressure sensitivity and the resulting haptic feedbacks that will vary depending on the action. Both smartphones are water-resistant with an IP67 rating and they feature an extra speaker on top for a much better audio experience than before.

Thanks to a new revelation by GSM Arena, we are now able to take a first look at the upcoming iPhone 7. Reportedly, these renders are made from actual 3D drawings by the tech guys at Apple. Of course, improvisations have been made in the color and material department through intelligent guesswork. We do not think that the renders will be off by much as they have done a pretty good job in emulating the parts that were not present in the original drawings.

From what we can see in these pictures, there will be a change at the back where the antenna lines used to be for iPhones. The good news is that two speaker grilles can be seen at the bottom of the phone, or at least we hope that they are speaker grilles! If the iPhone 7 does the same thing as they did with the iPhone 5s, one of those two grilles will only house the mic. Much to our disappointment, we did not see a 3.5mm audio jack anywhere in the renders.

According to these, the next iPhone is not going to have the dual camera setup which the iPhone 7 Plus is rumoured to sport. The images are not enough to pass judgement on whether the iPhone 7 is going to have water-resistance certification or not, but we are hopeful that it will. Stay tuned to find out more in the months leading to the release of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus towards the end of the year.

windows 10

Finally, Microsoft latest Windows 10 is officially Here. The Win 10 upgrade is available for all Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 users who reserved an update before.

Windows 10

The upgrade is already available in 190 countries, but it's a staged rollout so it might not get automatically downloaded to your machine yet. However, there is a little trick you could do to force the update.

In order to get the update Notice, follow these steps:
1. Run Windows Update, and make sure you are set to receive updates automatically.
2. Navigate to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download and delete everything inside.
3. Run a command prompt in administrator mode and type wuauclt.exe /updatenow.

Win 10 upgrade

Among the biggest novelties in Windows 10 are Microsoft's new Edge browser, multiple desktop environments, a unified notification center and tight integration of Skype, Microsoft Office and Cortana into the system. The quirky assistant now has a new home on the PC and promises to become a close and personal buddy of yours across all of your devices. Bear in mind, however, that Cortana won't be initially available in all regions, so you might have to wait a bit to get acquainted.

Super Mario Run is finally here on Android and available for download from the Play Store. The registrations had been open forever, although iOS users had been enjoying the game for months since it came out last year in December. Unfair as it may seem, we are just glad that it's finally available for us Android users.

In an unexpected turn of events, Nintendo has decided to release the game a day earlier than the original intended date. Personally, I liked the game and as far as experts are concerned, no one has given it a bad rating yet. What I really liked was the fact that Nintendo has done away with the concept of micro-transactions in this one by introducing a one time pay system like the old days. You get to download it and try it out for free, but if you want to get more of Mario action, then you will need to pay for the full game. Critics have hailed the $10 price tag to be a bit too steep for a mobile game, but if you ask me, I will take a $10 price tag over an "in-app purchase" scheme any day!

The highly rumored Razer Phone is finally here, but is it really the ultimate gaming machine on the go that you were waiting for? Check out the specs below and decide for yourself!

5.72 inch-LCD display, 120hz refresh rate, 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution (515 ppi)

Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC

8GB of RAM

64GB internal storage with expandable card slot

Dual 12-megapixel cameras on the back (telephoto + wide angle)

8-megapixel front camera

4,000mAh battery

Android Nougat 7.1.1

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and NFC, fingerprint sensor in the power button

No audio jack but THX certified 3.5mm to USB-C DAC adapter included

Available for $699 from November 17

In my personal opinion, I am a bit disappointed to see the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC powering the Razer Phone. Granted that it is still the most powerful Android chip, it's not even comparable with the Apple 10X Fusion chip on the iPad Pro and certainly not the latest A11 Bionic powering the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and iPhone X when it comes to computing power. It would have been nice to see the Razer Phone debut with something special to offer, other than just the brand name!

Android-gambling

Online gambling has never been more popular than it is today. People around the world love placing bets on sports events, play online poker or spend their time spinning reels and chase 21 in blackjack. One thing is for sure; more players will rely on their mobile phones to gamble on the Internet and further neglect their laptop or PC.

When it comes to mobile gambling, whether it's on Android or iOS, there are a few things to consider to ensure that you have a smooth experience with no drawbacks. Here is what you should look out for in 2020.

Avoid downloading casino and betting apps

When smartphones first became popular, it was all about the apps. Games, social networks, news; users started to download hundreds of apps to their phones because it was the thing to do. Quickly, though, it became apparent that there were some serious drawbacks with native applications. Buggy behaviour, large file sizes, missing features; apps didn't live up to the standard that users were used to from the web.

With online casinos and betting operators, it is very similar. In most instances, downloading such app only gives you limited access to games, and due to their complexity, you will quickly exhaust your phone's local storage.

Luckily, most gambling sites optimised their content for the mobile web, making it possible to sign-up, deposit, play games, and withdraw winning straight in your mobile web browser. If you register with a leading casino brand such as LeoVegas or one of their sister site, you can be sure to have a stellar experience wherever you are in the world.

Mobile slot games and more

Of course, the most important bit of your mobile gambling experience is games. Whether you're at home on the couch, on the bus to work or at the beach, you ideally want to have access to the full range of casino games at your operator of choice.

In 2020, there is nothing to worry about. All major games developers have made the shift to develop games for all platforms. Big Time Gaming, Play'n GO, or Quickspin all produce games with a mobile-first approach anyway. Still, even the industry's evergreens like Microgaming and NetEnt successfully adapted their strategy. They even relaunched older games with new technology to make them work seamlessly on Android and iOS smartphones.

Making deposits and requesting withdrawals

One thing some users worry about - whether it's in gambling or online shopping - are transactions. Often customers start a purchase journey on their phone but complete it on their laptop. For some reason, they feel uncomfortable paying on their smartphone.

First and foremost; whether you deposit money on your phone or laptop, there is zero difference in terms of security. In both cases, your data is handled in the exact same way and protected by the same security standards modern banks use. What's more; payments on your smartphone might even that little bit more secure!

Many gambling websites now accept payments with Apple and Google Pay, making it possible to confirm transactions with your fingerprint. This is a technology that does not exist when making purchases or withdrawing money on your laptop or PC, so playing on your phone might be the way to go.

While the name of the next Android OS might still be undecided, the first developer preview of the OS is here. As of now, the developer version of Android O is eligible for being rolled out to the Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, the Pixel C tablet and the Nexus Player.

Google has already given us the timeline regarding the Developer Preview release schedule for Android O. The first one already came out on March 21 and other three will follow consecutively in mid-May, mid-June and mid-July. It is being expected that Android 8.0 will see the first stable public release from late August or early September at best.

Significant changes seen so far in the OS include changes and improvements in the Notification menu, the status bar, the navigation bar, Quick Settings, App badges, System UI customization options, physical keyboard support, Autofill API, background processes, PIP support and much more. While many smartphone OEMs around the world has not yet managed to roll out the Android Oreo update, Google has already taken the lid of Android P, aka the next Android OS. While there's still a lot more to know and things might change, here are the top five things that you should know about the upcoming OS version.

Boosted Privacy

Privacy is going to receive a boost on the following fronts.

·         Sensors, cameras, and microphones will no longer be allowed access to any app once it becomes idle

·         Backup encryption with a client-side secret and per-network randomization of MAC addresses

·         Better accommodation of the fingerprint scanning tech as Android P will allow each app to access the fingerprint data in much more detail than before

Support for the iPhone Notch

Creating an UI around the new "notch" introduced to the world by the iPhone X last year is still a tricky affair as the current gen OS versions are not that well fitted to accommodate it. Android P is going to introduce APIs that will better support the notch and apps will finally be designed to work with the notch in mind. This also confirms the fact that we are soon going to see alot of Android smartphones with the notch, or what I affectionately call, "ears!" Frankly, it's riduclous to take that route for multiple reasons, but the OEMs clearly see a market for it.

Wi-Fi Round-Trip-Time (RTT)

Wi-Fi Round-Trip-Time is going to make even turn-by-turn indoor navigation a possibility, because apps will now be programmed to sense how far your device is from the source of the connected Wi-Fi and guide you through the indoor facility accordingly!

Improved Notifications

With every iteration of the Android OS comes the promise of "improved notification system" and this year, you will likely see a lot of conversations right on the notification bar itself, including stickers, smilies and even attached images. Android P may allow for replying to those messages right from the notification bar itself.

There's also going to be better support for multiple camera modules this year, but we will have to wait and see how the "better" part will work, given that most flagships are already using dual camera setups quite efficiently!

Motorola astonished the tech world last year when it reappeared with its iconic Razr flip phone as a foldable smartphone. It worked well and got lots of attention from its fan base but its success was overshadowed by the more powerful Galaxy Z flip from Samsung. However, in December, the company revealed that they are working on a 5G version of the Razr, and recently they announced a revamp of the upcoming smartphone.

The Motorola Razr was the first vertically foldable phone to hit the market on Feb 6, 2019. It features a 6.2-inch display and a secondary 2.69-inch glass display when folded. Razr was a rather unimpressive mid-range smartphone, packing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, a 16MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, Android 9 Pie, and a 2,510mAh battery. The Galaxy Z Flip, on the other hand, had an arguably better display in terms of look and feel, a better processor, more RAM, more storage, a larger battery, newer software, faster charging, and better cameras.

According to the latest rumors and leaks, the second-generation Motorola Razr has the code name "smith". The foldable is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a 2,845mAh battery. The rear camera is also getting an upgrade to Samsung's 48MP ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor while the front camera is getting upgraded to a 20MP shooter.

The device will run Android 10 out-of-the-box, presumably with Motorola's many improvements to the Quick View display. The dimensions of the main "Flex View" and closed "Quick View" display themselves, as far as we know, haven't changed from the first-generation model, though we hope that Motorola will introduce enhancements like a layer of Ultra-Thin Glass. Razr will support 5G connectivity, made possible with the inclusion of the Snapdragon 765 with its Snapdragon X52 modem.

Good Lock by Samsung was a "good" application at launch but it had quite a few serious bugs. The location settings popped up repeatedly, the colors were ordinary and most importantly, it sapped the battery severely. Samsung did address quite a few of the bugs in earlier updates, including the auto update issue, Home button issue and multiple problems with external SD cards. There were also a host of other bug fixes and add on features that were introduced by Samsung earlier, but this latest update takes customization options another step further.

The Good Lock Update v24.0.9 will add enhanced Routine color settings, more colors for the lock screen clock, a shortcut to Mobile hotspot on the Quick Panel and a new, bug free dark themed notification shade. If you have a Galaxy S7 or a Galaxy S7 Edge, you will see a new AOD Quick Setting as well. Considering that it has been out only for a month, it's good to see that Samsung is so dedicated to providing the best possible experience to its users. You can download and use the Good Lock app if you have any of the following handsets form the Korean OEM; Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Active, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.

Samsung has lately been pretty much bang on time with updates for their latest smartphones, but this time they have gone a step even further. Users of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone in Spain have already started to receive their security updates for the month of June! Considering that it's still May, we think that's fantastic. Mind you though, as per reports, the update is only rolling out to the smartphones that are on Orange (a carrier in Spain) for the moment. Consult the screenshot above for more details.

In the recent past though, we did see Samsung do something similar when it rolled out this month's security update for the Galaxy Note 4 in April. If you are wondering if it includes any major bug fixes or adds anything new, we are at a loss here because not much else about the update is known yet. Nonetheless, it is only a matter of time before reports start to come in with more details. In fact, you will receive the update yourself before long, if you are using an S7 Edge that is. If you want, you can always check for the update from Settings> About Device> Check for updates.

While Android 6 Marshmallow is apparently reserved only for their latest high end smartphones by Samsung, they have finally decided to roll out Android 5.1.1 updates for the Galaxy Note 3 Neo models in India. Reports of the OTA update first came in from the users and later on, Samsung confirmed the news as genuine. Check if your update has arrived yet by going into Settings>About Phone>System Update>Check for Updates.

Among the changes that this new update will bring to the Note 3 Neo's Indian variants, improvements will be seen in the notifications department as they will become easier to view and access. Before you download and install the update make sure that there is at least 3072MB of free space as specified by the update. Also, once it has finished installation, you should expect almost a gigabyte (950MB) of space to be taken up permanently by the new software installation.

With so much of emphasis on the Galaxy Note 5 and its newer dual SIM variant that was released with 32GB in-built memory for around 51,400 INR last week in India, it is good to see that some of the older and cheaper smartphones are not entirely forgotten by the Korean manufacturer.

The year 2016 is coming to an end and Samsung has just detailed everything about the final patch of the year. Google had released the December SMR a few days ago, along with Android 7.1.1 Nougat for select devices and had given OEM companies access to the firmware. If you are wondering when your Samsung phone is going to get Nougat version 7.1.1, we have no clue, because Samsung is still far from releasing the final, stable version of Nougat 7.0 yet.

The December patch however, is definitely coming to all the recent smartphones from the company's arsenal, as well as a few of the old ones. Apart from the multiple fixes and performance improvements from Google itself, the patch will also address 15 issues that are unique to Samsung smartphones. Fortunately, it will solve a problem that I have personally been bogged down with. The mobile Wi-Fi hotspot would turn on automatically sometimes on my phone and the password would simply be presented in the log!

When exactly your smartphone will receive the December patch depends on your location, carrier and of course, the model that you are using. Nevertheless, it shouldn't be too long now.

We have good news for owners of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge today as the final builds of Android 7 Nougat that Samsung is going to send out to all its customers, are almost ready. Vodafone Australia has made it official via an update onto its website on December 15 that Carrier testing for the much awaited Android Nougat update has already started. Check out the details in the screenshot below.

It was to be expected since the Galaxy Beta Program is coming to an end along with the year 2016. Previous reports and rumors had stated that the OEM would be updating its current flagships with the Nougat OS in early 2017 and it seems like those were right on the money. If you have been following us, then you should know that Samsung is going to skip Android 7.0 and go straight to v7.1.1 while releasing the final OTA update. While the differences in-between Android 7.0 and 7.1.1 aren't earth-shattering, it's always good to know that an OEM is going to provide the latest version of the Android OS to its premium customers.

Lo and Behold! Android 8.0 is here and unsurprisingly, it has been named Oreo; the name that everybody thought it would carry from day one. Those rooting for Oatmeal Cookie will have to be disappointed because Nabisco did one over you all apparently... Now to get to the useful stuff, here is a list of Samsung smartphones which will be getting the Android Oreo update for sure. Keep in mind that list can and will expand in the future as more reports come in and Samsung makes things official, but all smartphones on this list right here are almost 100% assured to get a piece of Oreo in the future.

·        Galaxy Note 8

·        Galaxy S8+

·        Galaxy S8

·        Galaxy S7 Edge

·        Galaxy S7

·        Galaxy Tab S3

·        Galaxy Note 7 Fan Edition

·        Galaxy A5 (2017)

·        Galaxy A7 (2017)

The Galaxy Note 5 and the entire S6 series are also rumored to qualify for the update but that's unsure at this moment.

If you were expecting a timeline then we must disappoint you because it's way too early for that. Head over to our firmware section to find all the latest available updates for your Samsung smartphones and tablets.
