Samsung has recently started to expand its older series of smartphones with new models and the A6 and A6+ are going to be a part of that initiative. They will definitely be released into the mid-range segment and you can expect the specs to be in the line of the following.

Exynos 7870/Snapdragon 625 CPU

3GB RAM for the A6 and 4GM RAM for the A6+

Micro-USB port only and not a USB Type-C port

3.5mm audio jack

Dual camera for only the Galaxy A6+

Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box

As far as reports are concerned though, the two devices will be tested in Europe and the Middle East initially. While the specs seem decent, the question is, would you be interested in buying one of these models if they became available near you? Xiaomi has already displaced Samsung as the number one smartphone manufacturer in India (one of the company's biggest low-mid range markets in the world) by releasing superb smartphones at ultra-low budgets, so it remains to be seen if it was a fluke or if the same trend will be seen in other markets as well. The Galaxy J4 Core is rumored to be one of Samsung's Android Go phones, and if our predictions are right, then we will be seeing the budget smartphone launched at the Samsung exclusive event on October 11, alongside the Galaxy A9 Pro (2018). A device by the model number SM-J410F recently received certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance, further cementing the rumor.

Although the specs can differ a bit, it is expected that the Galaxy J4 Core will probably be launched with low-end hardware, such as the Exynos 7570 SoC, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The 5.5-inch, 720p Super AMOLED display will probably still be good and just appropriate enough for the 3,000mAh battery. Do keep in mind that all of this is just speculation at best. Now the real question is, will you be buying such a device even in 2018? Let us know in the comments.
