First confirmed News from the Taiwanese giant. HTC will be revealing Two major New Flagship Smartphones on March,1st at the MWC 2015 event. Many expect the company to announce the One M9 and One M9 Plus, as successors to last year's One M8.
The latest leaked press image (via @evleaks) shows two new, never-before-seen HTC smartphones that have similar design traits to other recent phones from the company. They appear to have metal chassis, center-mounted front cameras, and HTC's signature front-facing BoomSound speakers in a similar configuration to last year's mid-range Desire Eye. The only visible difference between the two phones is what appears to be a fingerprint scanner below the HTC logo on one of them. Other leaks have referred to this particular model as the "Hima Ultra" which will be called on the market "HTC One M9 PLUS", the other phone's codename is just "Hima" which will be the regular HTC One M9.
We don't know what the Plus version extra features is yet... It is said this "Ultra" model will have HTC's DuoCamera feature and a fingerprint scanner and may just be destined for the Chinese market. Other specs that have been reported include a 5-inch, 1920 x 1080 display, UltraPixel front-facing camera, 20-megapixel rear camera, and a Snapdragon 810 processor.

An HTC One M9 online retail listing shows that the flagship device will be available before the end of this month. The retail giant B&H listed the smartphone with March 25 launch date and $649 price tag. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S6 which will launch on April,1st.
The launch date and the price tag were quickly removed from the listing by the retailer, so we might indeed have seen the actual launch date of HTC One M9. B&H has a stellar track record as a retailer, so there is little reason to doubt its listing.

Apple already announced it's first Watch last September along with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 PLUS but didn't release into markets. Today, Apple has sent out invitations for an event to be held March 9th in San Francisco where Apple Watch will be official released. The title of the event is "Spring forward," a reference to Daylight Savings Time which begins the day before.
While no launch date for the smartwatch has been announced, Apple CEO Tim Cook has said that the device won't launch before April. Additionally, Apple Store employees are said to be in training for the release of the timepiece.
Apple will reveal a launch price for the Watch at the event along with pricing for the mid-range and high-end versions of the device. Apple has said that the entry-level Apple Watch Sport will start at $349.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip has already been unleashed, along with a number of other flagship smartphone SOCs for 2018 and let's face it, gaming is pretty much how most of us push these top tier processors and GPUs to the test in real life! On that note, here are three of last month's top games that you should be testing out on your shiny new smartphone.
Candleman
Candleman is not really a superhero but quite literally a candle with limited illumination time and two legs! The 3D platformer is fun to play as it blends in the elements of platforming and puzzle solving quite nicely, while being supported by some neat visuals as well. In fact, Candleman looks so good because it's originally a game that was made for the PC and consoles.
Lichtspeer
Does the name sound German? It should, because it is. Lichtspeer means a spear of light and that's exactly what the protagonist throws at oncoming enemies, leading them to their gory and colorful deaths. There's techno music, giant bosses and a whole lot of colors in Lichtspeer. To top it all off, the game actually is a whole lot of fun to play, while the entire setting is odd and funny. This is a must-play iOS game from March and hopefully, an Android release will also happen in the coming months.
Evoland 2
If you are still nostalgic about the old RPG games and especially the old JRPGs, you just have to play Evoland 2. The very fact that every stage of the game is designed to give you a hit of nostalgia by replicating some of the classic elements that fans will instantly remember is good enough to sell this, but it does one better by slowly evolving the in-game graphics from pixel art to low polygons that we used to see back in the days of the Dreamcast.
That concludes our list of the top three paid games that were released last month, but if you are more in the mood for some games that will let you win real money instead of just in-game currency, head over to online UK games and try out your luck. They do have some interesting new games there as well. In case you are wondering why we only put paid games on this list, then that's because there will be another list soon which will consist of the top free-to-play Android games of March.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and the iPhone X are superpowered smartphones and if you own either one of those, chances are that you are itching to try out some new games to test all that horsepower. We have already published our list of the three best paid games from last month and if you have not checked that out yet, you should do so after reading this. Now, it's time to take a look at four of last month's best free games.
ChronoBlade
Did you like Streets of Rage for the Genesis or do you have no idea what I am talking about? If you have played Streets of Rage, this game will instantly remind you of it and even if you have not, it's an awesome way to get introduced to the genre of beat-em-ups on mobile. Gorgeous visuals and fun gameplay with RPG elements keeps ChronoBlade Enjoyable for the players and of course, profitable for the developers.
Heir of Light
Heir of Light is an absolute spectacle of what the modern mobile phones can handle in terms of graphics and animation. The social RPG or MMORPG is actually a JRPG, and while some have complained about it being a bit repetitive, that may change in the near future. As it's free, this game is worth trying out for the gorgeous visuals alone.
Marvel Strike Force
Another visual treat that lets you form your own Marvel superhero team and get them into fights with other teams in turn-based strategic combat; sounds amazing doesn't it? It actually is and the animations are nothing short of jaw-dropping in Marvel Strike Force.
PUBG Mobile
The last entry on this list is of course, Player Unknown's Battlegrounds Mobile because it brings the most popular multiplayer shooter of the recent times from the consoles and the PC to the smartphone and every fan of the genre absolutely love it. If you are wondering if it's the same game that you have already been playing on your console or PC, the answer is yes, it is!
Even today's mobile games can be quite demanding, so just in case you are having trouble running the latest games on your old smartphone, it might be time to upgrade. However, power isn't the only thing to look for while buying a new model. Aside from the processors and the GPUs, you must also make sure that the smartphone in question is compatible with the frequencies on which the mobile networks in USA operate. The last thing you want is to end up with a smartphone that does everything well except taking calls!
We all are waiting for Google's Next Android version which will be called Android 5.1 "Lollipop", it's rumored to be released as an OTA update for the nexus line-up very soon. Today, HTC's VP of Product Management said on his twitter account that Android 5.1 will be released in March.
He used Twitter to tell an inquiring HTC One Google Play Edition owner that a bug fix he was waiting for would be rolled out as part of "Google's next MR, which is in March".
"MR" stands for "maintenance release", and from what we've heard so far Android 5.1 promises to be just that and nothing more. So there's a high likelihood that Versi was in fact referring to this version in his tweet.
@JensEsbjerg It'll be tied to Google's next MR, which is in March. Thanks.

We are already in April and Samsung has only just started to roll out the March security update for the Galaxy C9 Pro. Still, it's better late than never! The OTA update has the firmware version C900FDDU1AQC32, which will bring in a few minor performance improvements along with the much awaited security patch for the last month from Google and Samsung.
As of now, the C9 Pro is only available in India, Vietnam, Hong Kong and China. The rather large 6-inch handset is the only one in Samsung's arsenal yet to sport 6GB of RAM. It also has an impressive 4,000mAh battery and a decent SD 653 chip. Unfortunately, it has not yet been upgraded to Nougat yet. All Samsung phones carrying the tag "Neo" are exclusive to the company's Latin American markets, so this news will only be relevant to that region only. So, if you happen to live in a country that saw the Neo series being releaed there and you have a Galaxy J7 Neo, it's time to check for an update that's either already waiting for you, or is about to land on your phone any minute now. The model number on your phone should be SM-J701M, so check for that, in case you are not sure what your model's nick name was. The firmware on the other hand, should come in the form of version J701MUBU3ARC1.
When the news had originally surfaced, the update was being rolled out to the mid-ranger in Peru, but by now, it would be surprising if users in a few other nearby countries have not yet started receiving the same update as well. Just in case you don't know already, the March security update brings fixes for nine critical vulnerabilities in the base Android OS from Google and five of Samsung's own fixes for the month.

The March security update has actually been rolled out by Samsung much faster this month, especially compared to the last few months. This time it is time for the Galaxy J3 (2017) to receive the March security update in Italy, so if you have the phone, do check to see if firmware version J330FNXXU3ARC1 has made its way onto your notification bar. Even if you are not in Italy, there's a good chance that by the time you finish reading this, Samsung has already started rolling the OTA package in some other regions as well. This update should take care of five Samsung UI related issues and all of the multiple vulnerabilities shared by every Android device.
While a lot of people tend to complain when the low and mid-range smartphone models from the company's arsenal receive security updates before the more expensive ones, we think it's actually a good move by Samsung that shows they do care about all their handsets (at least up to an extent anyway!).

We are about to enter the last week of March, but the month is not over yet, so you should be glad to know that Samsung is now rolling out the March security update to the Galaxy S8+. As of now, reports indicate that the rollout is being carried out in Germany for the unlocked variants, but it wouldn't be surprising if the update is waiting for you, even if you don't live in Germany. Once these updates start to roll out in one region, they don't take too much time in appearing in all the other regions as well. The US and China has a slightly different time schedule though.
In case you are not aware what you are going to get with the patch, go through the following.
· 9 critical vulnerabilities will be addressed in the base Android OS
· Multiple less severe vulnerabilities in the base Android OS will also be addressed
· The patch will include 5 of Samsung's own fixes
· The firmware in question carries version number G955FXXU1CRC7

Just like the OEM has been doing for the last few months, March saw Samsung rolling out the security update of the month to certain low and mid-range handsets first, but now it's time for some of the higher end models to get the same treatment as well. As per reports by SamMobile, the Galaxy Note 8, the Galaxy A7 (2017) and the Galaxy S7 are the latest handsets in Samsung's arsenal to get the March security update via OTA.
If you own a Note 8, you should see your update arrive in the form of firmware version N950NKSU3CRC2. As for the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy A7 (2017), firmware versions G930FXXS2DRC3 and A720FXXU3BRC2 should be making their way onto the two devices. While this means that all major regions should start receiving the same updates pretty soon, South Africa is so far the only place to get the same for the A7 (2017). Samsung had already started rolling out the March security update for the Note 8 in most regions and now South Korea has joined in. The S7 is receiving the patch in Europe at the moment.

Although Samsung has already started releasing the April security update to one of its low-end handsets even before Google's official declaration of the patch, not all of Samsung's handsets have been updated with the patch for this month yet. Nevertheless, the company is steadily doing so and the Galaxy C7 Pro, Galaxy A8+ (2018) and the Galaxy S7 Edge were the latest models to receive the update.
If you own a Galaxy S7 Edge in Europe, you should see firmware version G935FXXS2DRC3 make its way onto your phone anytime now. Since the Galaxy C7 Pro was released only to very limited markets, India has been reported to be the only nation as of now to get the same patch in the form of firmware version C701FDDU1BRC2. Strangely enough, the Galaxy A8+ (2018) is not being updated as regularly as its smaller counterpart, aka the Galaxy A8 (2018). Nevertheless, the model is now receiving firmware version A730FXXU2ARC9 with the March security update in Russia and Uzbekistan.

The Galaxy A5 (2017) and the Galaxy A7 (2017) had both received a major camera update from Samsung a few months back, but the budget device Galaxy A3 (2017) was left out of the fold. The good news is that the A3 (2017) has also started to receive a similar camera update now and the OTA package comes in packed with last month's security updates from Google and Samsung as well. Although it's technically the middle of April, that's all the more reason for you to download and install it as soon as possible.
As far as the camera improvements are concerned, they can be listed as the following, but there could also be some minor improvements in terms of picture quality and post processing.
· AR Stickers are now part of the camera on the A3 (2017)
· Selfie focus mode is now included, which will allow the camera to take a selfie with a blurred background, similar to a bokeh effect

The security patch of the month has still not reached as many Samsung handsets as it should have by now, but the Galaxy A50 becomes one of the first to receive the update via OTA in India and Sri Lanka. Given that the handset was both meant for and launched in the subcontinental regions, that doesn't really come as a surprise though.
Once you realize the fact that the Galaxy A50 is a mid-ranger ($285 approx.), the device does sport some pretty amazing specs for the price really, which includes a 6.4-inch, FHD+ Super AMOLED display, a 25-mp sensor with two additional 8-mp and 5-mp sensors on both its sides to make an impressive triple camera setup for the smartphone. It does sport a notch though, that Samsung calls "Infinity-U," but we all know it as the teardrop/waterdrop/dewdrop notch that you have seen on countless other devices in the last six months or so. The firmware will land via OTA as version A505FDDU1ASC1, and since this one is indeed quite a critical security patch, do get your device updated as soon as possible.

It might already be April, but Samsung has just only released the very important March security update for the Galaxy Tab S3, although it is being rolled out to only a few South American nations as you read this. SamMobile has named Peru and Colombia at the moment as the only two countries in the region to be receiving the March update on the Galaxy Tab S3, but we won't be surprised if even more nations get on that list by the time you get around to reading this.
Firmware version T825UBU2BSC2 is exclusive to the Wi-Fi + LTE variant as of now, but it is expected that the same security patch will also be rolled out for the Wi-Fi only variant soon. In case you are hoping for an Android 9 pie upgrade to land on your device, you will have to wait a lot longer I am afraid, as Samsung has scheduled that update for the Tab S3 in August 2019.
