The market for tablets isn't exactly doing well at the moment because the demand for digital slabs is going down significantly with each passing month. That however, is not going to stop the highly anticipated Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2016 reboot from coming out later this month. The 8.2mm thick and 525 grams heavy Android tablet will come in two models, SM-T580 and SM-T585. The T580 will be a Wi-Fi only device, while the T585 will have support for LTE networks (up to 300Mbps).

Both models of the device will share more or less the same hardware, starting with the 1080p IPS display and one of Samsung's own octacore Cortex-A53 processors clocked at 1.6GHz (Exynos 7870 SoC). There may also be 2 gigabytes of RAM and 16 gigabytes of internal storage. Rumors indicate that the Tab A might have support for external memory cards, as per the new trend by Samsung. A modest 8-megapixel snapper may be seen on the back of the tablet, while a tiny 2-megapixel sensor in front of the phone will have to do. Strangely enough, the bottom firing twin speakers are both on the same side. All the hardware will be powered by a promising 7,300mAh battery.

Other rumors are suggesting that in Europe, the T580 and the T585 will very soon be sold for €289 and €349 respectively. Experts suspect that the Wi-Fi only T580 will take a little longer to go on sale (June), as compared to the Wi-Fi/LTE enabled T585 (late May). Before you start to draw conclusions, let us warn you that these are still rumors, albeit very realistic ones. Nothing about what you just read is official yet and is largely based on unconfirmed reports and a recently "leaked" render of the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2016.

The Samsung Galaxy C5 and C7 could be two upcoming mid-range smartphones from Samsung and based on what we know so far, both of them are probably going to sport thin metal bodies. It is not really unusual for Samsung to make mid-range metal phones as we have already seen that trend with their Galaxy A8 and J series (2016 reboot versions). If the report from China is to be believed, then a Geekbench result has revealed much about the C5 (also dubbed SM-C500) before its official declaration.

On the processor side, the SM-C500 is going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core CPU, coupled with 4GB of RAM. The MSM8952 SoC will also sport the Adreno 405 GPU to drive all the graphics intensive tasks with ease. The rumored Geekbench revelation also suggests that all this powerful hardware will be supported by the latest Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 right out of the box.

Some may point out the C5's similarity with the A5 (2016 version), but the hardware definitely seems more powerful on the C5. What remains to be seen is how Samsung prices the C-series due to their rumored elegant metal designs. We will find out more in May as that is when reports suggest the C-series would be released in China. There is no word on when this new line-up will hit markets outside China so far.

Firstly, there's the news leaked by @evleaks which suggests that the upcoming Note 7 will sport a "Blue Coral" variant for the first time. More interestingly, @evleaks also confirmed that there will be an iris scanner on the Note 7, just as previous rumors had us believing for a long time.

Secondly, latest reports from China confirm a lot of the other hardware specifications that were expected to be a part of the Note 7. The next Note may indeed sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821/823 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM and a choice of internal storage that may range in between 64GB - 256GB. Of course, there will also be an Exynos variant of the smartphone that will sport the Exynos 8893 SoC instead of the Qualcomm chip.

Other expected features that were confirmed by the leak include a 5.7-inch 1440p (QHD) Super AMOLED panel, a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-pixel phase detection, a 5-megapixel selfie cam, a SD-card slot and a fast charging battery with the capacity of 4,000mAh. Everything is expected to run smoothly on a fresh, minimalistic version of the TouchWiz UI, powered by Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 and not Android N, as rumoured previously. There's also the IP68 certification for water resistance and the first USB Type-C port from Samsung. Let's see how much of this matches up to the actual Galaxy Note 7 when it's released in August.

Galaxy Tab S2

It looks like Samsung will soon reveal a successor to its Galaxy Tab S line-up (Galaxy Tab S 8.4 - Galaxy Tab S 10.5). The upcoming 2015 line-up will be called "Samsung Galaxy Tab S2" and Samsung around opted to use 4:3 aspect ratios this time, favored by Apple for all of its iPads, and by Google recently for the Nexus 9.

The Leaked Specifications belongs to Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7" (Model number SM-T815) which will pack a 9.7-inch touchscreen with 2,048x1,536 resolution, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, an 8MP rear camera, and a 2MP front snapper. Ignore the 9.6" listing for screen size, as this particular benchmark can get that wrong sometimes.

tab s2

The Tab S2 runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, and it's powered by one of Samsung's own Exynos chipsets, which has a big.LITTLE CPU configuration, with four Cortex-A57 cores and four Cortex-A53 ones. The maximum clock speed is 1.9 GHz. The GPU is a hexa-core Mali-T760MP6. So the SoC has been updated from the Exynos 5420 in the original Tab S tablets, which had older Cortex-A15 and Cortex-A7 cores. Meanwhile, the RAM amount has stayed the same, as have the cameras.

We might see this 9.7 Tab S2 released officially during the Q2,2015, it may get announced on March,1st along with the Galaxy S6.

"The Galaxy Tab S2 is not only our thinnest and lightest tablet of its size ever, it also gives users quick, easy access to a wealth of superior viewing and productivity features, We believe the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is the most complete personal visual device designed for consumers to carry and use anywhere." - said JK Shin, CEO and President of IT & Mobile Division at Samsung.

Galaxy Tab S2 8.0

Specs-wise, the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 sports a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display, packs in a 5870mAh battery, and weighs in at 389g. Rest of its specifications are same as that of the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0. Both variants are available in Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi and LTE configurations, come with a touch-enabled Fingerprint Scanner, and offer Multitasking.

Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 Specs

Galaxy Tab s2 9.7

Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 Specs

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) just went through Geekbench, revealing most specifications to us in the process. The good news is that it will be running on Android Nougat v7.0, straight out of the box. The device in question has the model number SM-J727P and is possibly a prototype of the upcoming J7 (2017). As you can see from the screenshot, it managed to score 889 and 4200 on the single-score and multi-core tests respectively. While this isn't groundbreaking, it's not bad either for a mid-range device.

As per as the specs are concerned, check the list below to find what was revealed.

Model number: SM-J727P
5.5-inch 1080p display
Unknown Qualcomm processor clocked at 2.21GHz with Adreno GPU
2GB of RAM
13-mp rear camera and 5-mp front camera
3,000mAh battery
16GB of internal storage with expandable micro-SD card slot
Android version: Nougat v7.0
Carrier: Verizon (rumored)

We are a bit disappointed to see that it will feature only 2GB of RAM, especially when 3GB has become pretty much the standard. Also, a 32GB internal storage would have been much appreciated.

 Saikat Kar (tech-enthusiast)

At this point, the specifications of the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 are not really a big secret, but still there has been no official confirmation about them yet. However, Evan Blass from @evleaks has made a post on Twitter earlier in the day regarding the specs and that's about as close as we are going to get to the Note 8's internals before the official unveiling on August 23. As it turns out, this leak isn't any different from what we have heard so far.

Dimensions: 162.5mm x 74.6mm with an 8.5mm

Display: 6.3-inch Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1440×2960 in 18.5:9 aspect ratio

SoC: Exynos 8895/SD 835

RAM: 6GB

Internal storage: 64GB

Rear Camera: Dual 12-mp cameras with dual pixel autofocus (wide angle with f/1.7 + telephoto with f/2.4)

Front camera: 8-mp autofocus with f/1.7

Battery: 3,300mAh

Colors: Midnight Black and Maple Gold (initially); Orchid Grey and Deep Sea Blue may make an entrance later on

These specs look pretty legitimate but they don't show us anything we didn't know already.

moto g10

Motorola announced Moto G9 Play a few months ago and now the company is ready to release a follow-up device. The renders of the expected upcoming phone are going to arrive as the Moto G10 Play shows that company is changing the front design despite the phone being a successor of G9 play while leaving the rear's design as it is.

The renders are shared by a reputable leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer from OnLeaks. He uploaded the renders along with some details on Voice. He specifically mentioned that he didn't confirm the official name of the device but its model number is XT-2117, so we take the phone being Moto G10 play as an assumption.

The device has a punch hole at the top-left corner of the display, unlike the Moto G9 play that has a water drop notch. The screen is a flat 6.5-inch display panel with moderate bezels around it. There is a squircle camera design on the rear side of the phone that is centered and features three camera sensors and an LED flash sitting below the setup is the Motorola logo.

The company has placed the fingerprint scanner on the rear side of the phone. Motorola has decided to move the scanner to the side on this new device where it is imposed under a recessed power button. There is a button above the power button to control the volume functionality, a USB-C port, and a power grille at the bottom with an audio jack at the top. The phone has been certified by the FCC and a TÜV Rheinland certification says that it is powered by a 4850mAh battery. According to various reports, the phone should arrive in a few weeks. If it is indeed the Moto G10 play, we have a successor of G9 in just two months.
