HTC One X got an OTA update FW v1.29 with Bug fixes, FW 1.32 is Coming

In less than three weeks since the launch of the One Series, HTC has released two Updates for the HTC One X users till now, Today the Intonational version got another New 14MB software update, brings the smartphone FW version to 1.29.401.11, it's small in size but packs many bug fixes reported by owners.

Specifically, reports from users say that the update corrects the issue surrounding screen flickering with the HTC One X, and issues pertaining to USB storage. However, the Wi-Fi bug that we reported about previously seems to be persistent even with the installation of this update, but we think it will be resolved by FW v1.32 which is expected on the upcoming Months.

Evernote is basically one of the essential apps that is recommended for smartphone users no matter what platform they happen to be using, but the Android version of Evernote just got quite a big update to v4.0.1 with an entirely new UI.

The app has been redesigned to not only make navigation, and note creation easier, but it is taking advantage of new ICS tools as well.

The first thing you'll notice is a brand new homescreen with big buttons to easily create a new note or get into your saved notes. Once in your saved notes list, you'll notice that the list has been redesigned to make finding what you want much easier. User notebooks have been brought together with shared notebooks, because everything has to be more social these days And, taking advantage of ICS, Evernote is now using the Action Bar to make sure the options you need are available any time.

Reuters Confirm: Apple iPhone5 to pack a 4-inch Display, NOT Manufactured by Samsung

Reports from Reuters and Wall Street Journal Confirm that Apple's Next Generation iPhone aka "iPhone 5" or "the New iPhone" will have a 4-inches screen measure from corner to corner.

That would represent a roughly 30 percent increase in viewing area, assuming Apple kept other dimensions proportional. Apple has been using a 3.5-inch screen since introducing the iPhone in 2007 and all these displays was Manufactured by Samsung Ltd.

Also The Reports from Reuters confirm that the Next Generation iPhone displays will NOT be Manufactured by Samsung as we announced before that Samsung will stop Manufacturing any parts for Apples products, The production of the new screens has begun at three suppliers: Korea's LG Display Co Ltd, Sharp Corp and Japan Display Inc, a Japanese government-brokered merger combining the screen production of three companies.

Facebook seeks a $104 billion Valuation for IPO

Facebook on Tuesday raised its IPO (Initial Public Offering) price target range to between ($34 to $38) per share from the previous prices ($28 to $35) as a result of strong demands, according to a new filing with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.

The new price range pushes the social networking company's valuation to between $93 billion and $104 billion. Facebook will offer a total of 388 million shares. Facebook IPO will start on May,18th and its shares will be listed on the NASDAQ exchange under the "FB" ticker symbol.

More Users reports that Apple's New iPad is Heating Up while using

We heard about the issue that the New iPad is Heating-up while playing games or browsing the Web via WiFi, The problem is back again as Apple launching the New iPad in More Countries.

New iPad users who has just got their hands on this new Retina display tablet, is reporting a heating issue in the back of the device while using the device, The things that different on these new repots that users are experiencing this issue during the regular use of the device like running apps, using camera, checking mail. The screen gets heating up quickly and the back of the device is also getting warmer than usual.

Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 tablet to feature a Quad-core Exynos processor

Samsung annouced the GALAXY Note 10.1 at the MWC this year but the tablet didn't officially released as samsung wanted to change its specifications, Check the old Specifications of the Galaxy Note 10.1.

The score of 61.4 megapixels per second beats the Galaxy S III by a huge margin, indicating a new graphics processor. Since the chipset in the Galaxy Note 10.1 is listed as the same Exynos 4412 Quad-core 1.4GHz CPU we have in the latest Galaxy phone, then the graphics processor must be the next generation Mali T-604, not the Mali-400 in the Galaxy S II and S III.

We thought that Mali T-604 will only be coming with the Exynos 5 series of chips, but apparently Samsung might be testing other combinations, if this benchmark scale is true. The T-604 is about 5x the Mali-400 performance, So we can expect an HD display on the Galaxy Note 10.1, May be 1920 x 1080 reolution or even more.

Samsung received Huge orders for YOUM flexible OLED screens

Samsung Electronics VP Kwon Oh-hyun revealed that the company is currently receiving "huge" orders for its upcoming flexible OLED displays which was branded as "YOUM".

Samsung's Korean factories have orders to make no less than 960,000 flexible OLED panels this year, which is a pretty big number for a fledgling technology. That's why some analysts is assuming that this HUGE quantity might hint that Apple is ordering flexible OLEDs for its gadgets.

"We will be mass producing flexible OLED displays from the latter half of this year as the demand from our clients is significant. OLEDs will replace LCDs as the main mobile displays from around 2015 as the screens are thinner and brighter. Samsung has massively invested in OLED-related technologies and will continue to do so." said Kwon, Head of components department at Samsung

iOS 6 to bring Photo & video sharing to iCloud

Apple iOS is still not fully into social sharing and SNS Integration, but sources are saying that the next version of iOS "iOS 6" is going to also bring an update to iCloud which will allow for user sharing of photos and videos. WSJ reported today that this functionality may be coming, at least according to "people familiar with the matter".

The report says that iCloud will be adding the ability to share photos and videos with others via iCloud, and also allow for commenting on shared items, but it's still unclear, in the Upcoming iOS 6, if photos and videos would be able to be shared on Social Networks like Twitter, Facebook & Google+... You can ignore the last one though (Google+), it may never happen!

Apple to use a thin-film touch panel in a 7.85" mini iPad to make it cheaper & thinner

Foxconn industry supply sources claim that Apple will use the thin-film touch panels on the upcoming 7.85" iPad Mini which will launch by then of the year just before the Holidays, as the Wall Street Journal already already reported.

The sources also said to name the suppliers of the innovative G/F2 touch panel, which will shave off thickness, and make the display cheaper to boot. Nitto will be making the thin-film materials, while Nissha Printing and TPK will be laminating them in the screens for the iPad Mini.

The G/F2 design, standing for glass + layer of touch film with the electrodes top and bottom laminated to it, is thinner than the traditional G/F/F design, which puts two layers on top of each other. This technology will make the 7.85" iPad Mini screen cheaper to produce, thinner and with smaller bezel too.

HTC Desire C brings Beats Audio and Android ICS with Amazing Price

Today, HTC has officially announced the HTC Desire C as the successor of HTC Explorer, The deivce brings all ICS features on avery affordable price (around $270 or 180).

Desire C Full Specifications

The Desire C powered by Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich with Sense 4.0 on top out of the box. It also features Beats Audio technology (no headphones included in the box) and packs a 3.5" LCD of HVGA resolution.

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 chipset with a CPU clocked at 600MHz. The actual chipset model number wasn't announced, but it is probably the MSM7225A with a Cortex-A5 CPU and 512MB RAM.

The HTC Desire C brings some more upgrades compared to its predecessors. The camera is a 5MP unit with F/2.8 aperture and 34mm focal length (in 35mm equivalent). You also get 4GB of built-in storage (plus 25GB cloud space from Dropbox for 2 years), a microSD card slot, 3G with 7.2Mbps HSDPA, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and USB 2.0. The battery has 1230mAh capacity and it's user-accessible.

Nano Technology has No Limits and will never Stop inventing, After the revolutionary 3D-Transistors, Paul Otellini, chief executive of Intel Corp. said that the company had begun to work on 7nm and 5nm process technologies. The company's plans now are to equip its Oregon, Arizona and Irelands fabs to make chips using 14nm fabrication processes.

"Our research and development is quite deep, I talk about ten years," said Paul Otellini, chief executive of Intel.

Chief executive of the world's largest maker of microprocessors said that that the company's products made using 7nm and 5nm process technologies "on time and on target".

While the International Version of the Samsung GALAXY S III packing an Exynos Quad-core CPU chip, latest Information from Samsung confirm that Verizon's version of the GALAXY S III will pack a dual-core Snapdragon S4 which is a powerful processor too and it will Support LTE High-speed connectivity.

This is further confirmed by early NenaMark2 benchmarks, which show a Galaxy S III (SCH-I535) with a 1.5GHz dual-core S4. Yes, this is the same chipset found in the HTC One X. The reason for this exchange of hardware is the LTE support, which the Exynos 4 Quad chipset doesn't offer.

However, the benchmark shows something interesting. The Adreno 225 GPU in the Snapdragon S4 beats the Mali-400MP in the Exynos Quad by a couple of frames due to the pre-release software and some inconsistency in the NenaMark2 benchmark.

We all know a biopic based on the life of Steve Jobs is already being made and that Ashton Kutcher has been cast to play Jobs due to Kutcher's remarkable resemblance to him back when he was young.

TMZ has now acquired photographs of Kutcher on the sets of the movie ,which is reportedly being called "Jobs: Get Inspired", dressed in Jobs' famous blue Levi's jeans and black turtleneck, which was originally designed by Issey Miyake exclusively for Jobs. And all of this strikes me as a bit odd.

Although people are very familiar with Jobs' dress code due to his appearance in almost every one of Apple's keynotes, the truth is he didn't always wear those clothes. In fact he reportedly started wearing those sometime in the past ten years of his life. Yet here we see Mr. Kutcher portraying a young Steve Jobs with a totally different haircut, beard and clothes than what Jobs actually wore back in the day.

A lot of people already claim that Kutcher is not the best pick for the role but if the directors are going to make rookie mistakes like this, then there really isn't much hope for this movie.

Yesterday, We posted a lot of videos that we shooted of the Samsung's GALAXY S III features on our Review. Now, we're getting video from XDA showing off a few phone gestures that we hadn't known about before. There are three gestures shown in the video, but we definitely like the idea and would love to see more.

The video shows that if you are scrolling down a long list of items, like your Twitter feed perhaps, a quick double-tap on the top edge of the phone will return you to the top of the list. Scrolling on Android can be pretty fast, but the simple double-tap seems like a great solution. And, last was a gesture whereby placing your hand over the device will pause video that you're watching, including video in pop-up mode.

Samsung to stop Making CPU Chips for Apple after the A5X, Intel takes the Deal

Well, If you don't know that already, Despite the huge patents disagreements btween Apple & Samsung, Samsung is the manufacture of all Apple's mobile products (iPhone, iPad, IPod) CPU chips like the A4, A5 and the latest A5X chip for the New iPad.

After the iPhone 5 launch this summer with the A5X chip, Samsung won't manufacture the CPU chips for upcoming Apple products anymore which was the reason of these product's success on the Market. However, Intel will kicks-in and take the deal to be the CPU Manufacture of the upcoming Apple Mobile products.

During Intel's annual investor day on Thursday, CEO Paul Otellini outlined his plans to have Intel Inside mobile devices including those manufactured by Apple. Thanks to tablet sales from the market leading Apple iPad, the PC market shrank by 6% during last year's Q4, giving Intel fewer boxes to put its chips into and none other than Apple CEO Tim Cook said that he predicts that the tablet market will eventually top the PC market. Otellini says that he needs to make Intel's silicon compelling enough by running the iPad better than the current Apple's Samsung-made chips.
