Google Fiber app now available for all Android 4.2 devices

17 March, 2013 Applications

If you're looking for a reliable application that will allow your Android smartphones to have remote control functions and watch your favorite shows and movies any time, good news is that the Google Fiber is now available. However, you have to live in the only place where it's available to be able to enjoy Google's broadband service and that's in Kansas City.

Some features of the application will also permit users to browse movies and programs on their Android Jelly Bean 4.2 device and users will enjoy a cleaner and simpler UI for a more fuss-free experience. This application relies on fiber technology, which features broadband speed that is a hundred times faster than an already normally fast connection. It was introduced last year as a broadband and fiber TV package and Kansas City was the test market. Lucky people from the City will only have to pay $70/month for a 1 Gbps connection. No news yet when it will be offered to other major cities and hopefully, it will be made available to everyone soon.
