HTC launched One S in India with 1.7GHz Dual-core S3 CPU [Price]

The HTC One S launched in India and demand in the region has been brisk despite a major change in the lineup. Replacing the extremely popular dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 S4 processor is the dual-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor. This isn't a shock considering that HTC had already announced that selected markets would be getting the S3 flavored version of the phone instead of the S4.

The HTC One S is priced in a range of 33,000 INR to 36,000 INR which is equivalent to $600-650 USD. The price in Singapore for the S3 powered variant of the HTC One S is s948 or the equivalent of $750 USD.
