Microsoft won't Build its own Windows Phone 8 device

Microsoft denied today that they have any interest in building its own WP8 devices, telling InformationWeek that they have no plans to manufacture their own phone. This is of some note, as Microsoft usually denies all rumors as a matter of policy. We'd guess that they don't want to rile their Windows OEMs with silence, and so are changing their press policy in this specific situation.

Microsoft also has many partnerships with Popular Huge Companies to Market and Build Windows Phone 8 devices such as Nokia, HTC and Samsung.
