Nokia E63 now available in the U.S.

12 February, 2009 Nokia

On Tuesday, Nokia announced the immediate availability of the E63 (in red or blue) at its flagship stores in New York and Chicago as well as independent retailers and e-tailers. The Symbian smartphone is sold as an unlocked phone for $279. While still expensive when compared with other subsidized smartphones, it's really quite a drop and much more affordable than Nokia's other unlocked phones, which range from $500 to $700.

The lower price point doesn't mean less features either. The E63 is stocked a full HTML Web browser with Flash support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3G support, e-mail, and more. With the purchase of the Nokia E63, you also get a complimentary 12-month subscription to Nokia's Files on Ovi service, which includes 1GB online storage for your content.

According to Nokia, it expects to have evaluation units soon, so we'll have our full review up as soon as possible.
