Oppo has announced the launch of three new smartphones of the Reno 4 series. Initially, the phones will be released only for the western market. Oppo has already launched Reno 4 and Reno 4 pro in China and now they are coming to Europe. However, there is another handset Oppo Reno 4 Z which is a new addition to the series and seems more like an iteration model of an existing Oppo smartphone.

The Oppo Reno 4 series is coming to European market, including the UK in the second week of October. We are not sure about the Oppo's release in the US this year. The upper tier of the series Oppo Reno 4 pro would be the most expensive smartphone in the series while the Reno 4 Z will be the cheapest one. These devices share almost the same design. You can see a camera bump in the top-left corner of the rear side of the camera. Each device features a punch-hole or pill-shaped selfie slot on the front to eliminate the need for a top bezel while giving the user a large screen real estate. The phone will be available in white, black, or blue colors.

The Reno 4 Z has a 6.57-inch LCD Full HD+ screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Meanwhile the regular Reno 4 features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a full HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The Reno 4 pro has a 6.5-inch AMOLED full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Reno 4 and Reno 4 pro comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, while the Z model has its scanner built into the side of the phone instead of in the display.

The Oppo Reno 4 features a 48MP primary camera lens, with 12MP ultra-wide, and 13MP telephoto camera lens. On the front side of the phone, there is a 32MP selfie camera. The Reno 4 Z and Pro both are powered by 4,000mAh batteries, while the Oppo Reno 4 has a slightly bigger 4,020mAh battery. Both the higher-tier phones come with 65W fast charging while the Reno 4 Z is limited to 18W charging.

The Oppo Reno 4 and Pro are run on a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, which is the same processor we have seen in the Google Pixel 5. The Reno 4 Z features a MediaTek Dimensity chipset. So far we know that all of the three phones support 5G network connectivity. Reno 4 Z and Reno 4 features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the Pro model features 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
