Rumour: Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini to feature Exynos processor

25 March, 2013 Samsung

Screen shots that show Samsung's new Exynos 5210 were leaked over the net, which shows that the company might be developing it for the S 4 Mini. No further details were exposed but the chip will feature big.LITTLE technology by ARM. If this pushed through, it will consist of quad core processors, with both the dual Cortex A-15 and A-7 cores to split various levels of processing.

Since the recently-released Galaxy S 4 features octa-core processors, the Galaxy S Mini might be a quad-core device. It will reportedly have a 4.3-inch display that uses Super AMOLED technology. It might also have a dual-SIM, dual-core variant, which many will find useful, since they won't have to keep two separate phones for different carriers. The expected time of launch for this "diminutive" S 4 is on summer.
