Samsung denied its own statement and saying the Date was a Mistake, Keeps delaying the ICS release

Today, Samsung Philippine website announced that the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S II would be receiving the Android 4.0.3 update on March 10th had surprised all the Galaxy S II owners who hardly is waiting for tomorrow. But you might as well stop the celebration as Samsung is sobering everyone up with the information that the news was a mistake. Samsung had even spread the news with a tweet in the first place, Samsung then make a statement.


"The 10 March Date for Galaxy S II ICS release was a Mistake and we apologize," Samsung


Samsung also added, "ICS update release date is still not settled and it will be announced at a later point in time".

After all, Samsung has said that coming up with an update for all of the US carriers that offer the Samsung Galaxy S II is causing the delay in disseminating the update for Stateside Galaxy S II users. And now that no one is receiving the update on March 10th, US users of the model can admit that they were a little bit jealous of their overseas brethren.
