Google released its 2nd Nexus tablet, The Samsung Nexus 10 with a superb specs and to take out the Apple iPad 4 from the Top. Here is the Full Comparison between the two tablets in all aspects.
Dimensions
As you can see, Nexus 10 is thinner than the iPad 4 with over than 0.5mm but also its also bigger than the iPad 4 in width and height.
Weight
The Nexus 10 is slighter lighter than the iPad 4, but it also feels as solid as the iPad.
Connectivty
They both have Wifi with Dual-band & bluetooth, excpt that bluetooth in the iPad is useless. Apple iPad 3 support 3G/4G LTE connection with a microSIM slot, where the Nexus 10 versions on the market currently is WiFi Only.
Don't forget the dual-side NFC in the Nexus 10, this function doesn't exist on the iPad 4.
Display
The Nexus 10 has a bigger display with higher resolution and more pixel density than the iPad 4 Retina display, The Nexus screen pack 4 Million pixels, where the iPad screen packs 3.1 Million pixels.
Also, Nexus 10 utilizes Super PLS TFT HD technology against the iPad's IPS. However, Super PLS offers deeper colors and sharper images with more brightness and less power consumtion.
Camera
Both devices have a 5MP camera with the same image resoltuion, also both devices capture HD videos too. THe Nexus 10 has a 1.9MP front camera where the iPad packs a 1.2MP front camera for facetime.
Storage
Both devices doesn't support microSD cards slots, but Apple iPad 4 has a 64GB version where the Nexus 10 has only 16/32GB versions on the market. Samsung may release a 64GB version early Next year.
Performance
Samsung Nexus 10 packs a Samsung's Exynos 5 dual-core chip clocked at 1.7GHZ and a Quad-core PowerSVX T-604 GPU. The Apple iPad 4 packs the Samsung-made A6X dual core 1.4Ghz CPU and Quad-core Graphics.
As you can see more clock rate, means more performance but the RAM is the point here.
RAM
Nexus with a 2GB vs the iPad 4 with 1GB... no need to think here, the Nexus 10 will have far more performance than the iPad 4.
Battery
The iPad 4 pack a 11,666 mAh battery inside it, where the Nexus 10 packs 9,000 mAh. Yes, Its a huge diffrence but since the Nexus 10 doesn't pack a 3G/4G antenna it won't need that much power.
Jelly Bean 4.2 vs. iOS 6
The Nexus 10 ships with the updated version of Jellybean, Android 4.2. It's a relatively minor update, but it adds some new features like Photo Sphere (a 360 degree panorama), updated Google Now, and multiple user accounts. It also adds a Swype-like trace keyboard, all these features and more built right into stock Android.
The biggest weakness of Android tablets, though, is still their native tablet app selection. This is where the iOS App Store excels, with its 275,000+ library of tablet-specific applications. However, too many Android tablet apps are still stretched-out layouts smartphone apps.
