TSMC Benefits from Samsung Devices

According to JPMorgan Securities, TSMC or Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. is likely going to benefit from a surge in demand for Samsung products. The Korean Giant plans to replace their usual processors with Qualcomm Snapdragon, which the TSMC manufactures.

With the increase in the demand for the Samsung Galaxy and the Korean company's 100-million unit's target, it will definitely source out some of its processors from companies such as the TSMC for Galaxy units that will be sold in the US. On the other hand, Samsung allegedly plans to use its 8-core processor in European S IV versions.

There seems to be a strong outlook with the TSMC as it surprisingly posted strong revenues despite the slow season for the industry. Other industries that could benefit from Samsung's sales are circuit packaging companies. TSMC sales are expected to grow by 10% next quarter as compared to last year. Good news indeed for the semi-conductor company.
