The GooPhone N2 vs. Samsung Galaxy Note II

22 February, 2013 Samsung

Do you want to have the Samsung Galaxy Note II but without the steep price and the bond to pay a contract price? GooPhone will give you what you want for $160, but read this first before shelling out that much money for the GooPhone N2 Lite (Note II [Lite]?). GooPhone has been successfully replicating high-end devices to cater to lower-end markets. What's interesting is that it has even been able to clone devices prior to their announcement (take HTC One).

N2 looks so much like the original outside and it also has a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 720p HD. However, the GooPhone Company avoided possible repercussions on the N2 Lite by not totally replicating the original. Instead of using quad processors, like it has planned previously, the N2 Lite only has a dual-core processor, with 1GB memory.

It also has 4GB expandable internal memory, 3G connectivity, and a good 3,100 mAh battery to boot. The company is even planning to clone accessories with the announcement of a flip case for the N2. Do you think it's expensive or affordable at $160? You decide but only if you can get one shipped in from China.
